  • We're in the slow part of any restoration, that bit in the middle. Prepping and waiting for parts to arrive eats up time. It's like a Samuel Beckett play. But without Lambretta parts.

Thank you! Engine disassembly video is in progress... some things take longer than expected...

Kia ora, super excited to see this! Love all the detail you have in your videos, and it's a great inspiration on how to protect my own Prima. I was working on it today actually; now going to be waiting for some parts from NSU Motzke in Germany to reach New Zealand, all to fix a toothless gear change twist grip... Lots to keep one busy, it seems.
Side note, I think your tyres and mine (which likely came from the 70's or earlier in my case, and on the other side of the world) are identical

Thanks for the comment, Alex! I'm getting excited too. There's lots of prep going on at the mo. Once that's done things will progress more quickly. Good luck with your baby. 🤞

Thanks for the video.....May I ask....do you have your own vapour blaster or do you outsource it?
These are the hidden project costs

Hey Adam, I always go to the same local guy for vapour blasting. He's priceless. 🙂
