- When you just start Destiny 2 as a new or free to play player, to say the game can be confusing is putting it very lightly. My goal in this video is simply to show new players how they can unlock the crucible and crucible bounties in destiny 2. Hopefully this video allows more new and free to play players to earn loot faster and play different activities with their friends!

I can't unlock it. I'm stuck on a guardian rises trying to find the chest. Idk why they made unlocking the pvp like this.

I just tried to get two new friends into it and have been trying to figure it out as well, you have to get to rank five in your guardian rank, and on number five under playlists it gives you the quest to meet Shaxxs

Could it be to do with guardian rank? This can be found in the Journey tab. It's possible there is some challenge or something you need to unlock now. I will have to make a new account and make a new video for this I guess.
Get to rank 5 in the guardian rank then you will be able to talk to shaxx
It never gave me the option to get the fucking quest!!!!!!

@@Papapickles618 i figured it out, go to your journey tab next to ur character and get to guardian rank 4 and you can talk to shaxx and he'll give u competitive and two quests

I have constant trouble I’m trying to play comp and everytime I try it says speak with lord shaxx I’m well over spark of hope and I’ve been to lord shaxx plenty going through the game and it still says speak with lord shaxx

How do you get a gun that actually works in crucible tho? I just joined and have people killing me in 3 shots, meanwhile my gun is TICKLING the enemies. Each shot does maybe 5% of their total health.
the "gunsmith" in the tower sells decent weapons each week for legendary shards. You can visit "XUR" each week for more weapons.
other than that, just try a bunch of weapons and learn which ones you enjoy and that feel good for you in crucible.

That dude not entirely tellin u all the ways u can do raids and get really good weapons and armor or do the campaign
@@exoticxgreen9836 Yeah I figured it out shortly after making this comment, and got addicted to collecting weapon patterns and exotics and high stat armor lol. Haven't played in a while though, the time investment you need for the game is pretty crazy. I'd definitely come back tho if I had an extra 2-3 hours of free time per day 😂

Umm. Only thing I can think of is that you are a brand new player and you need to complete the new player quest on the cosmodrone. The location is bottom right middle of your destinations tab. Also go to your quest tab and look for a quest called 'a guardian rises'. And complete that.. afterwards you will unlock the tower
