@@kettleshot6044 They are low difficulty. You basically stand around and do nothing while a flag slowly rises. The latest update made them available on higher level.

@@biz5543 Wrote this around the time the patch where they pushed the mission up to higher difficulties dropped, like I said in my comment.
The Flag Raise should be a normal tactical objective in harder difficulties. Let it replenish our reinforcements or give us an extra stamina boost!
Morale boost effect: increased speed and vitality.
This should play when the extraction is overrun and pelican 1 goes from coming down to get you out, and saying "don't worry helldivers, get yourself to safety, we'll get you home in time for dinner" and then starts blasting the song

I feel something profoundly wrong has happened when I play a flag raising mission, and the music doesn’t play near the flag.
@LionKimbro I hate that I agree with this, like couldn't they add a boss fight that happens only in those cases to make it feel more real (or have tremors happen and a chance for a surprise evacuation sequence with a countdown, then a rogue SOS beacon gets sent before stratagems go offline... only to find out the SOS beacon was from the original games era which is WHY the stratagems go offline, old tech interference, and it becomes an emergency major order, failure to complete will infest with stronger mutated enemies

there is a raise flag mission where you have to stand and listen to the anthem while the flag poll raise up, you have to listen to it till the end or the objective wont be completed
