I saw him once sa isang mall years ago, may hawak na yosi and a cup of coffee. Mag isa siya and by the look in his eyes he appears so sad and lost, parang ang lalim ng iniisip and I honestly saw myself in him maybe because I was also mentally unstable that time. In that moment I wished him a good life at sana malampasan niya what ever his current situation is. Now, watching this I am genuinely happy for him kahit di niya ako kilala. Because of this interview nagkaroon ako ng small hope para sa sarili ko.

I commend him wanting his daughter to grow up here in the Philippines first to avoid being a foreigner in her own country like what he went through. Louder Kuya Diego! Kaway kaway sa mga Pinoy na Ingles ang pinapamulat sa anak kahit na dito naman lumaki. Natututunan ang ibang wika sa paglaki pero ang pag santabi sa sariling wika ay walang kapatawaran.
Matuto sana ang mga ibang artista sa kanya na kahit anak ng artista eh walang ka showbiz showbiz sumagot. He lived his life truthfully and brave enough to own up to it. I would say Diego is one guest who’s go the most wisdom. Hands down! (old or young. Male of female). Hindi aral yung mga statement niya. They all come from the heart, experience and values passes Dow from his older generation. Ang dami niyang quotes na practical and realistic.
He’s on guy na ayaw na ayaw ng mga kapwa pinoy in his younger years because he comes from a different culture. He was misunderstood. And totoo naman that he had a lot of mistakes and bad decisions in his past but look what it led him to.
I believe na he’s going to be like his dad in his craft- I don’t want to make his dad as a basis of comparison but that’s a standard to kee up with since he is a great actor. Nakikinita kinta ko na magiging very important and significant roles and ibibigay sa kanya. He has depth. Hindi lang papogi or pakilig.

Watching this interview made me realized that i should be thankful to my parents for showing us that through thick and thin, they stayed together for us not to experience a broken fam. Like not normalizing a broken fam. Before getting married, i really prayed hard that God will give me a the right person and He gave it. Or shall i say, me and my siblings really value the essence of having a complete fam. 😊
I like how matured and open-minded Diego is. He doesn't dwell in the past, he doesn't really care about what other people will say, he learns from his mistakes, etc. Masarap ka kwentuhan on a deeper level mga ganitong tao. Life will always have a different meaning.
The way Diego answered this interview, you can tell that he has changed for the better. He really improved a lot. He's really matured now and embraced the fact that he is now a Father and would do anything for his kid and Family. You just need consistency and you will leave peacefully.

I always admired Diego Loyzaga, i was very sad when i learned he almost took his own life because of depression and at that time i don't blame him, we all go through our own pace in life, and sometimes itnis hard to get through it, good thing Diego was able to surpassed that event in his life, God is good when he knows what is in your heart and he is the only one who really knows what is going on, he will always come to save us and guides us to make us realize how precious life can be. gusto ko yung sinabi nya na " hindi pinili yung bata para e silang sa mundo, you decide to bring the child to the world, so you have all the responsibility to take care and provide evrything as posible". kasi growing up my father always told us na hindi responsibilidad ng magulang na pag aralin ang anak.
At some point i agree na dapat financially ready ka if you bring a child to this world BUT Financial support to a child is not enough. The child needs and deserves to have a complete family. KAYA before you bring a child to this world. You should be ready physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially.

Wow! Ang laki ng maturity ni Diego ngayon. I remember noon bad publicity lagi ang mababasa mo about him. Now, he has more wisdom and good insight about life. Diego would be a great ambassador/spoke person for mental health. He went through these dark times, rose up, and beat depression. I wish he could talk more and give his insights to people who are thinking of ending their lives.

Briefly met his mum here in Australia at a Filipino function. Having grown up in Australia, i had no idea who she was. My mum told me she was an actress from the Philippines. She was super down to Earth, friendly, no diva - like behaviour at all, dancing and laughing all night with us "little ppl". I'm not at all surprised her son seems just as cool. It's nice to see he's got the straight-shooter, no BS mentality of Aussies. Best of luck to him.
