Finally... this took forever to get done. It should've been easy, but I found out youtube started compressing some videos really hard, especially at 360p, which they did not use to do, so some videos over the past year look terrible because of the blockiness caused by their video compression settings. So I tried bumping this one up to 1080p and then 1440p to see if it looked better, and it did, but not dramatically. So if you can watch it at 720p, 1080p or 1440p, I would if I were you because at 360p this video looks like it was posted on youtube in 2005... which would be nice if it also included all the awesome features they used to have then. :)
I used to think I was doing something wrong and that was why some videos looked so bad, but it turns out it was because of this low compression setting youtube likes to force some videos into using. I wasted most of last year doing tests, getting depressed, and giving up several times before finding out it wasn't my fault. Anyway, this would have been a New Year's vid, but all that testing and making sure it was okay enough to post and it not bother me with what I could've done better kept it on the shelf until now.
Happy New Year and I will be posting some stuff on the community page or section or whatever it's called on the channel, since it requires a post for people to actually post there now. Since Google+ is gone that means the page I worked on for so many years is gone. That happens to be one of the things that depressed me over the past year, btw. There's more about what happened earlier this year and what happened to the plans for the second half of Feb and April. Yes, there were things in the works for the anniversary. I kept quiet to not jinx them, but things I never expected to happen, happened, and it really crushed me... It all felt pointless. Anyway, sorry for the long post.
TheMMCchannel Happy New Year! You could take a week, a month or even a year to post a video. I don’t mind how long you take, as long as you continue to post MMC videos please. I really enjoy these videos and there is nowhere else to watch them. So thanks again for all your hard work that you put in to posting this videos and take all the time you need!
