I am so glad I saw this! I just picked this up and I love it!!! I used to hate the stuff because my skin is dry and it made it look worse. Not this though, I haven't used the sponge either!

The MUFE Powder foundation sponges for this and the last version are the only sponges included with a powder that I use because of the velvet side and the has the same density as their black latex Ellipse Blender sponge. I really love it. I think you might be missing out if you don't try it out. It gives such a soft application and blurring effect. I've noticed I don't get as great a result with powder brushes. I think you might not be getting the ultimate results if you are not using a sponge to fully lay it down. It gives me a full coverage flawless effect but I don't use it alone I use it on top of foundation as I have for over 20 years since the original MUFE powder foundation came out in the late 90s. hahaha.

Did you notice if the shade oxidized over time? I'm close to your shade.
It didn’t oxidize in my opinion. 😊
Thanks for saying that it is not going to be a true matte foundation that won’t help with oils. Because the original is wonderful for oily/combo skin. This is why I don’t like when they reformulate things.
