  • In this video we talk about hot to stop enabling someone who is struggling with addiction weather that is Drug addiction or Alcoholism.
Even good people who are in addiction can become extremely manipulative and cause havoc in the household. They will often act in ways that seem outside of the person who they really are. And because of this it becomes difficult to differentiate truth from lies.
If your loved one is struggling with addiction, watch this series of videos. They are intended to help people struggling and family members to navigate these very challenging times.
    - As a 10 year recovering drug addict it's become my life's mission to help people escape the grips of addiction. - Drug and alcohol addiction not only hurt the person using but EVERYONE around them, including parents, brothers, sisters, spouses, children, the list goes on.
In this series, I'll answer as many FAQ's that Families ask us on a regular basis. A few years ago I started a non profit that helps people to get clean and sober and have been asked every question under the sun.
The question I get most is - what are the options for my family member who has no resources and is trying to get clean. - Many times, the active drug addict or alcoholic has burned all of the bridges and it may not even be safe for you to have them in your house.
Even at that phase you still do have options. -- Watch the video and I'll explain more..
A little about me. Hi I'm Justin Halas
My story begins with a 15 plus year drug addiction that stole my family, my life, my money, and my health and I did nothing but hurt myself and the people around me. It eventually led to me being a multiple time convicted felon, homeless, committing crimes, losing custody of my son, and becoming a drain on society.
Countless relapses, I was hopeless. or at least I thought.
When I finally hit bottom, I was given the GIFT of desperation and the Willingness to Seek God, ask people for help and take suggestions.
That was the day my life changed and I'm now over 10 Years Sober. I believe if I can be shown Gods Grace,, ANYONE CAN. With the willingness to pursue God and the 12 Steps anyones life can change.
It is now my life’s mission to help others to get sober, find Jesus and pursue a better life.
High on Jesus is a recovery program where we use Jesus and the 12 steps to completely change our life, and it works! Our core verse is Matthew 7:7 “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you”.
I'm posting these talks in hopes that people who need this message will find it. My only goal is to help people struggling with Addiction to find a way out and find a connection with God.
I want every struggling addict or alcoholic to know Jesus Loves you and You are NOT ALONE.
