The map is designed so that they fight in a narrow straight line.

If you didn't know nanokumo does something very clever he always has his battles in slow-mo because at normal speed the lag would be terrible but then he speeds up the footage so that it looks like normal speed so he can do these massive battles it's actually pretty smart what nanokumo does!
