Trader Joe’s needs to hire your parents as official taste testers. They would see a spike in business from people looking for quick, traditional, authentic Korean food with their seal of approval!!!
The Trader Joe's website gives a feedback on their products, so u could add yours there then tell them u are CZcams Influencers who reviewed it online! I just ask u to request that they do a milder & spicey version, so people with tender tastebuds like me can try it!

I don’t think I’ve ever tried anything at Trader Joe’s that I absolutely hated. I love that place! The employees are spectacular as well, with such great manners. What I find makes a lot of the frozen stuff better (besides adding stuff and combining like you guys are doing) is preparing everything on the stovetop, or oven, if you have the time, even if they don’t provide directions for that. Microwaving takes away a little bit, not always, but stovetop prep makes it taste a little bit more “home made”. I love trying all the different t kinds of foods there and that there are new items almost every single week, it makes it so exciting!

i am a complete trader HOE but i have definitely had a few majors flops from them. can’t remember everything but the dill pickle chips they tried in the past were so foul 😭

I feel like Trader Joe’s was trying to aim at those unfamiliar with Korean cuisine after trying some of their recent products. I agree with your mom that if you can combine it with bulgogi which is the missing ingredient on both the kimbap and japchae it will taste better…. I also add my favorite kimchi to anything though because it’s an upgrade lol

Pine-uh-apurr. I love your mom and dad for trying new things and willing to learn new cultures/languages! Your mom reminds me so much of my former coworker named Sun Hee (Sunny to us Americans). She had a strong Korean accent and it was hard for her patients to understand her. She tried so hard and we loved her for it. Sunny adored Mexican food and said she could eat it every day. Luckily we live in LA and it was easy to find.

Yet again, l'm inspired by appa and eomma's love expressions! Priceless! I marinated on eomma's re-telling of peeling/serving apples to appa for 40yrs and now he does it for her as the queen that she is! I am truly inspired tru them to continue to be patient, kind, and attentive to my spouse. I pray you both continue to flourish in your love for each other!

I just have to say, I love your parents! I lost mine 5 years ago, and that was the hardest thing to go through. Enjoy them as long as possible!!
I’m so glad to hear the Bulgogi was good! I just bought it. But haven’t tried yet. I had it for the first time at a KBBQ place and fell in love with the traditional one. So yummy! The Japchae I actually really enjoy! I bought several. But I do take out the peppers, just because they give me bad heartburn. And then add sauces to it after cooking. The japchae can be cooked on the stove too. And I think it tastes better that way. But in a fix the microwave is easy.

It's not bad for the price. If I was single and didn't wanna cook, I would probably stock them up even though they are not like homemade foods.

Everything looked good..but absolutely nothing like your meals. I think just a little of your home spices made a big difference for them. And of course there was room for some ice cream..great reviews ..and Dad inserted a little mini commercial for you too😅😅

I have wanted to try much of these for so long but we dont have trader joes and the only things ive found arent palatable. Wish i had asian parents. I adore sushi of all kinds and i want to try these fat noodles. I forget the names but it all looked delicious
Many of the ethnic foods -- especially spicy foods -- are adjusted to "softer" palates. I love Korean foods because I enjoy spicy foods and foods with bold flavors. I'll know what to avoid purchasing at Trader Joe's based on your parents' critiques! ❤😊
