Employer tracking an ex employee? sue them asap
Apple needs to disable the "anti theft mode" on apple tags. It allows the air tags to be used without the app getting notified.
More people work than are affected by violence in America and, despite 1 of 2 reported on crimes involving an employer stalking an employee, you failed to go into any depth on the case much less even gave it equal attention.
DV stalking cases: scary for victims of DV.
Employer stalking cases: scary for all adults.
If you’re going to attempt to manipulate society with fear, at least TRY to be effective.
Also, it’s not like they’ll ever get convicted or, if they are, it won’t remain on their record anyways unless they have a prior DV or other violence conviction.
Unless it’s DV related, it’s considered a property crime, a type the state is currently not prosecuting.

Yeah actually they would because it's VERY EASY to get the info. It's hard evidence for at least stalking charge. Plus the interactions are highly likely to be non violent. Another plus for them. We're all being tracked anyways by Big Tech so? If you got a smartphone they know where you're at all the time even if it's off. Same thing with most newer vehicles.

If you paid attention to the video, they only found the airtags because they had an iphone... If they had an android they would never get a notification.

😂 These people don't think before they act making technology. Like EV cars in the cold, no good. I called that years ago and it's only going to get worse every year. Who wants vehicle power issues in extreme cold? Not me, not never!
This is old news, Apple and privacy experts all said this shortly after AirTag came out. Always make sure you have your phones and watch for the alerts.
It's automatic for iPhone users, but not Android, you have to manually open the app and press scan when you are in doubt that there's an Airtag nearby, and you're screw if you use neither OS, it's definitely not an ideal solution for an issue that Apple created.
Not sure how they haven't been sued. They are putting people at risk.
You can detect when an airtag is near you.
Not everyone has an apple phone.
There is an app for normal people.
