    Love the barber pole Mercian! Nice to see Steve W. and Scott G. too! It's been a while since I've run into them. OTS's Brit bike was great too, with so many fun details. Looks like you guys had some fun!

    I just discovered your videos. Thank you very much I really enjoy seeing the old classic bikes. I worked in a bike shop in the seventies when I was in my teens. They made such pretty bikes back then!!! My favorite road bike was a Fuji finest in rainbow blue/Chrome with round forks... Wish I never sold it.

    What fun! Look forward to hearing about the plans for the spring ride. Hopefully it is open to cheeseheads.

      There was some Cheeseheads there! lol. Yes. I have to be careful. If I put this ride out to the entire channel I may not be able to cover the lunch and run out of space. Join Bikeforums.net, its free and I'll post about it there.

    Digging that bike swap. I think I'd come home with more parts than taken to sell.

    John, I have a 1973 Lambert Grand Prix. Do you know anything about this bike.

    • @JohnsVintageRoadBikeGarage
      @JohnsVintageRoadBikeGarage  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi. I know alittle about them. I own a Viscount Aerospace. Two of them actually. I'll do a video on it soon. Hard to Date those bikes. I guess the main story was it was a bicycle company that wanted to build their own components vs going to wienmann and shimano etc. They were uniquely light for sure. They also had an aluminum fork that was known to fail called the deathfork. Mine has one. Keeping it on there for historicity.
