The fact Maokai is keeping up with a Cho'gath in health is absurd.
He took Goliaths ascendairy, that is why. If zwag took Goliaths, he would be well over 11000+ hp

At 33 minutes you pointed out maokai item did like 3k while yours was still at 1600. But another thing to note: his item was also giving him permanent 1k additional max hp.
Obv your item had more resistances after certain time in combat, but in terms of longer-term benefit the item maokai bought seems far better for straight tanks (plus more dps)
Yes. This item also has an infinite, exponential scaling, so it can easily get absolutely op if you mix it with demonic/titanic bcs you keep getting more and more ad/ap as well

TBF The item of Zwag is poorly written, it makes you believe that functions like Swain ult on low range but actually for what I could see does a big sap every few seconds, even if your not in range of anybody that translate to no dmg even if you were fighting for like 2-3s thats why the dps number didn't increase too much
@@MartoRoss yea it definitely only saps once when the stacks first reach max. So you might not even hit everyone (or anyone if you're being poked). So it's pretty garbage effect, except for the resistance stacking. Still, imo much worse than the HP stacking item
@@nonameguy1382 exactly. I wish he woulda showed mao's sunfire damage and mythic damage. I would bet he had prob like 3k free hp from mythic by the end of the game.
Bruh, no joke, if you build Grasp and Overgrowth runes and full heal items (Goliath, Warmog's, Spirit Visage, Hullbreaker, plus whatever tank item, I build Knight's Vow for additional 200% health regen), you easily crack 11k hp on nasus. And you heal like... 300-500 hp a second. Obviously not optimal for many reasons, but tank meta is about to hit league hard as hell.
I think second wind is 10x better actually. The missing health heal, coupled with a massive hp pool makes you unkillable.
in fact you can even buy a spectres cowl for the doubled regen in combat. Its actually much more effective than building another health regen item if you just want to make a dot champ liandrys abuser hate the game.

Another changed you missed is that chemtank is no longer a mythic as well ! You can build on chogath and get a speedy chonker

We should all take a moment to appreciate how well this maokai played, from what I saw he looked like he played perfectly in just about all the fights, cho is just broken af right now
He always blocked or dodged Rammus ball with either his Q or his E, he dodged Cho Q's almost perfectly and he always focused on either Xayah or Ahri.

Since the sunfire was doing over 115 magic damage per second, if you had Goliath ascendiary instead it would be dealing 470+ physical damage a hit. Not including the hp it would give you for doing that every time, or the passive hp it gives for legendary items
maybe add a titanic as well and holy moly. it may be overkill tho.
@@alejandrouribe8308 I kept watching, he got it to 142 magic damage which, if he had Goliath ascendiary giving him extra HP he would be at 610 damage from the grasp proc. Building a ridiculous amount of armor against this like 60% damage resist it would still do 250+ damage. Not including the magic damage grasp does, or even cho'gaths abilities.
Titanic would be worse than demonic as it wouldn't give him extra damage for all his abilities and ult

You should look at Abssal Mask updates. It's a mana item now! Would have probably been a better item than Fimbulwinter here. You get mana from taking damage and heal from using mana, which is perfect for Cho'Gath. It's also still an MR and enemy MR reduction item.

I like how every champion now has a mythic that they can use. Sure some items are too strong but the ideas behind them are great

the weird thing about the icathia’s endurance is that it stacks up from being in champion combat but has very short range. this means you can get all the stacks from being hit at range, and when the drain happens, it doesnt hit anyone.
You should use the gladiolus on scion. Since it gives you additional HP plus scions normal HP increase you can really stack resistances and have unbelievably Massive HP pool

can i ask what app are you using to see ranks etc. I assume you have one cause its showing what skill to choose first
the sunfire change makes sense because everyone was building it anyway. The removal of the on hit burn is the biggest change to it tbh, now its not nearly as good on yone, diana, yi etc
It's actually not on hit burn, it's per second fixedon hit burn that means as tracking faster doesn't increase on hit dmg is still fixed per second
Now imagine a Full Team Tank with this. Everyone is a raidboss!

Man, that was awesome! You should try Ornn with the same build but Stoneplate as the final item, I think he'd be beyond immortal.
Try a 6 Active Items build on a tank like Rammus, Singed, Volibear, Maokai, or Sion.
Predator Boots, Turbo Chemtank, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Randuin's Omen, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Redemption.
Bring Ingenious Hunter too for CD on the item actives.

Worth noting that the cooldown on Goliath's is PER champion. Also the doubling effect explicitly states in the item description that it's only for stacks. With all the armor you had built if it doubled all armor and mres you'd have had way more than 300.
