Yes, ticket sales, album sales, etc are monetized, but so are CZcams videos (if the algorithms align!) My question - what basis do we have that they are not preaching a Gospel that produces a transformation of life? Wrong. Hillsong is all about MONEY! It's that BS "prosperity teaching", "prosperity gospel" nonsense. A friend of mine used to live near their "headquarters" in Bella Vista , Sydney , back in the mid 90 s, I could not believe even back then how it could be classified as a "church".
Most of the people making "religion" videos on YT are grifters also. They sell merchandise, "God Saves" coffee cups etc. It's all BS. These people are frauds.

The issue is God was never in Hillsong I seen no evidence of these pastors having a a true regenerative heart. Seemed only as a show tickling the ears of the people , having a form of godliness but denying the power! It is the power of God that changes people not some show put on by powerless people.

My family was in leadership and were in Hillsong from 1992. As a teenager l knew it was a cheesy false gospel. I use to listen to old hyms and read my Bible. I knew it was 2 Timothy 4 vs 3-5 1 Timothy 4 vs 1. 2 Peter chapter 2 Etc .

No institution is perfect. We are humans and have flaws. What hillsong have done to spread the gospel is more than you and I can do.
