Not really. He only ran him in one deck based on the assumption that putting him back in deck with lockjaw is the best way to use him. Realistically he’d be better in a Cerebro deck where you don’t mind playing him from hand but getting him for free is even better. 7 power with cerebro, mystique, and Blue marvel is a decent swing and one of the weaknesses of the deck is not being able to add power the certain lanes once you 2 power cards are on board by turn 4. Cerebro and mystique buff your existing guy but add only one power each assuming you have blue marvel out. If m’baku comes out he could fly to a lane that’s flooded by storm for example. The extra power can help and you can control where it goes by where you play mystique and cerebro to lock out lanes you don’t need to add power to.

I think it would be interesting to barely win an almost tied game. I mean I've definitely only lost a game by 1 before. I don't think it would be a good card but at least interesting
With 2 power I feel like it's still on the weaker side and you still gotta make sure somehow he's in the bottom 3, which wouldn't happen much outside of LJ decks

He could work well in a 1 cost zoo deck where if you don't draw him he comes out from the deck and gains the board buffs. Not great but probably the best he could be useful in

Weird. What did they say exactly? I don't see the point of purposefully making bad cards. Yeah, not all of them are going to be equally good, but if they're all unique and balanced for their energy cost, they could still get play as the meta evolves.
They could give it an un reveal effect that when you play it double it's power and it goes back to the deck or it gets plus two power or something. This could make it very interesting in my opinion.
That would be OP. No reason NOT to include him in your deck because it just improves your draw consistency for no downside. If you give him that effect he would need negative power (ie: at the end of the game, he jumps out of your deck to screw you over unless you completely filled up every location)

All you do is you replace your worst card (ie: the card you're happiest if you don't draw) with M'Baku and then since M'Baku is never in your hand, you can play completely normally except you can no longer draw your worst card. That means that instead of pulling off your OP combo 70% of the time, you can pull it off 80% of the time. And you also get a free 2 power at a random location on top of it. Literally no downside. Only upside. It would be a must-include in every single deck ever.
If M'Baku got the effect like, "You cannot draw this card" it would make him so much more playable, similar to America Chavez but even better because you play an 11 card deck
A normal game of snap has 9 natural draws out of 12 cards from your deck. That's a 75 percent chance to draw mbaku before the end of the game. Even with those three cards, you only reduce the natural draws to 6 out of 9 possible cards to draw. That's still a 66 percent chance to draw mbaku! You made the most consistently bad deck in marvel snap and you did it for an extra 9 percent change to get 2 power on board. Tldr: Mbaku is a terrible card even when he isn't completely useless

Hi nice video, Here a deck idea, what about m'baku in a cerebro 2 deck and with lockjaw to ensure m'baku to stay in your deck till the end? Furthermore, if m'baku jumps into lockjaw at the end of the game does he loops (i.e. from deck to location, to deck, to location again, etc.)?
They need to change him. Something like 1-2, starts at the bottom of your deck + his skill. Means he will nearly always just randomly jump somewhere. People can use him to have higher chances to pull the other cards, but it's not that good.

They should chage it so that it has a chavez type ability wherein he will always be in your deck (if possible) until the end of the game where he then jumps out of your deck to a random location. It sounds op because of the minus one deck space, but he doesn't have the captain marvel ability. I think this is fair enough idk

Mbaku maybe would be good in pool 1 in a zoo deck. But since hes in later a pool where youve unlocked much better cards hes pretty bad. I just got to pool 2, so im basically just playing with my pool 1 cards. So compared to the many bad 1 drops hes kind of on par.

I feel like m’baku might only fit in cerebro 2. Getting a free 2 power card is pretty huge when it gets +4 or +5. Even playing from hand isn’t too bad when it’s a 6 or 7 for 1 energy.
Really can't see the logic of this card. Having an ability that can't even trigger in 75% of games should be a great ability. That, or he should be powerful enough to at least be worth playing even if he gets drawn. Odin and Onslaught are obviously better with combos, but they're still powerful enough to win lanes even when played alone. Angel has the same problem. Even if you happen to trigger his ability, he's not powerful enough to make a difference in his lane, and drawing him almost guarantees he won't get played. He needs a power buff at very least or to maybe jump out earlier in the game or also from your hand. If he always jumps out, probably change him to a 3-1 so he's harder to buff with global buffs and can almost never make a difference without them, but could be really powerful in zoo, Surfer, or Bast/Nakia + Cerebro decks or the like.
Interesting to know that he is that bad, and you can you guess what is the only new card I got after opening like 500 CL worth of caches today? I can give you a hint, starts with M, and finishes with 'baku
I don't think it is the worst card, to be fair Angel is a worse card to me. You can work around this card, but cards like Baron Mordo I think are worse. That card would be fine with more power. I think this card might work better in decks with Kazoo.

This is the first of the new cards I pulled, but he was also in my token shop so he's just been here to annoy me and prevent me from getting cool things. That's what he feels like. Mbaku's only purpose is to sabotage me in all possible ways in this game, he sabotages my game, my cache boxes, and my token shop. I hate this card, tried playing him, played over 15 games with him DREW HIM 100% of the games wtf.
I think a cool way to make umbaku better would be to have it not possible to be drawn and have it jump out turn 6 at a random location that way it can kinda just thins your deck and can clutch a few games

I think for mbaku to see play it should add can not be drawn from deck. It’s 2 power so it’s not a huge issue to get it for free.
