ran a massy 760 from 1979 to 1990. water pump and a few belts etc. down time 3 days. feeder housing rubber paddles was best part of the combine. the re thrasher worst. love that combine .

Johndeere copied the massyferguson 760 and 860 to build their 6620-7720 and 8820 but we all know the ol massy 860 can thrash just as good as a new combine just not as fast
Wow, never heard that before. I’ve run both brands. JD 6620, 7720, & 8820. MF 750, 850, & 860. The steps to the cab are the only thing that is comparable.
Good to.see these old 860s still.in use.
They may even outlast some of the newer more modern combines.

We had a C-2 gleaner then we rented a 7720 titan2 then we bought a 6620 and they were all good machines the neighbor had a 860 Massey 👍🏻

Jason Newell well I've seen a farm run both a 860 and a 6620 combine really neat
