Interview with Liam and Noel from MTV's 120 minutes in 1994. Not owned by me in any way, and I'll take down this or anything that the copyright owners want me to.
In America they were kept out of the mainstream. They poked through a bit in 96 but they noped em right out the door. America wanted that dreadful shit (grunge) and committed to it ($) all music business politics, they never had a chance. Sucks. They would have schooled all the shit bands that labels already invested in and they needed to protect their investments.
@@TheChadTI Grunge was a great genre in it's own right if anything I'd say if nirvana was still around when oasis got big a little rivalry between oasis and nirvana wouldve significantly helped oasis break the states.
I remember it so well, they captured this optimism that was happening in the UK at the time. I would give up everything I have to sample that feeling for one more day.
liam couldve easily been a model in these days, its no surprise his eldest son who looks exactly like him is now. he was so pretty especially at 0:35- 46 and 0:59

A decent set the covered his black eye which he took it upon himself to wear for a couple of months, fair play as it was before they where wedged up, again gets back to why they where unique and relatable as he only wore them because of getting clumped by a bloke who found out he went through his bird lol fair play, even then before the money they wore and portrayed themselves spot on, only genuine set of Northerners who have nailed it with both attitude and dress sense. Noel has lost his way now unfortunately and has become a stuck up fucker towards his fans, unlike Liam who used to be labelled as the individual who couldn’t care less, getting old but still real, apart from the early nights and tea drinking lol

They really were. The wave of British music was the most positive period of our lives

They both can be pricks to each other at different times. I always felt Noel softened in the 2000s and became more of a lovable grouch.
