    Those atsf 2-10-4 steam locomotives are my favorite and so are the 4-8-4 4-6-4 4-8-2 and the 2-10-2s of the Santa Fe railroad because it is so freaking awesome man sweet and wicked cool dude ❤

    At 4:06, I had to look that up to find it was an M10 tank destroyer. They weren't delivered until late spring of 1942, though, so there is no way they were being loaded up at the end of 1941.

      You'd probably get arrested or put on a watch list as a potential spy for paying such close attention to train movements including filming and photography given it was wartime and the sheer number of military shipments going on. People didn't joke about security back then.

      @@TrainFan119 During Desert Shield and the lead up to Desert Storm, military trains were not an uncommon sight on the UP (ex MP) Fort Worth Subdivision heading towards Houston. In fact, during the annual fireworks display and 4th of July festivities one night on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, a military train just happened to pass through campus. I hear tell the crowd went nuts in cheering.
