The plane is an OV-1D Mohawk U.S. Army that was used in Vietnam up til the early 90's as an intelligence photo plane.
What a majestic return of "shunk-a-kunk-a-kunk..."...I've missed it!

....It is awesome Adam how you are having so much fun, essentially in the middle of nowhere, all by yourself. I was getting a little nervous for you when that hail continuously got louder on the windshield. Stay hydrated and stay safe.

Dude that is the best road stop ever! Gun shop, gift shop, machine gun range, and pop-culture murals all in one awesome location. They even sell gunblades there.
Ghost town = amazing!!!! LOVE the stuff off of the beaten path! Glad that you and the van are safe. Storms get rough out in the open!!!!

Circus Circus was a filming location too, the film "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" was shot there, pretty cool.

I want to go to the Las Vegas of the 50s and 60s. Now a days it doesn't have that appeal that it once had.
Thats because the mob no longer controls it, the appeal is waining you can see it,looks run down and dumpy,I would never go there. Disappointing for sure.
Vegas was once a classy place to visit, now it's just trash, drunks,and prostitutes.

I know Adam loves Casey Neistat, but i just don't get his appeal. When i watch his Vlogs I am always checking to see if it's going to be over soon. I usually can't finish watching a full Vlog of his. Adams Vlogs on the other hand are the most entertaining I've ever seen and i always wish they would would keep going. I can't wait to watch everyday.

Hey Adam, these drone shots you're getting are badass man. If you're interested in making extra money there are websites that allow you to post your videos like that to be used for stock footage, and people pay a fee to license them for their videos or projects. I just figure since you have the equipment, are already getting the shots, and will be traveling to a bunch of unique locations you may be able to make a few extra bucks at the same time. Keep it up man

Any time I entered the Circus Circus casino, I headed straight for the buffet.
Wow. I am loving these vlogs! Please do not let your water bottles get too hot. The plastic starts to break down and leaches bad stuff into the water. So glad you made it through that hail OK! Had me scared!

I definitely shared your apprehension and sadness at you leaving California, but I think like everybody I'm finding your vlogs from the road exhilarating, and you've only been away a couple of days! :-) I've stopped at that "last stop" place last time I was on holiday in that area. Didn't stick around to fire a machine gun though…!
One quick request: any chance you could insert (or even just film off your laptop screen!) A quick screenshot map showing your current location in each of these vlogs? The first thing I always do when I start watching is pause your video and look up your location on Google maps to give the vlog some context so it would be awesome if you could do it for us! :-) But just an idea.

I'm digging this road trip. It feels like I'm coming along for the ride. Found my self actually impatiently waiting /checking for this mornings vlog.
Next time you stay in downtown vegas. Stay at Four Queens. They are the last hotel in Vegas that doesn't have a resort fee.

Unless it has changed, both the hotels you saw through your window (Main Street, California) don't have resort fees, either.
California is under major remodel...rooms are VERY nice compared to others on Freemont

Hi Adam, Love your blogs they remind us of the fantastic road trips we have done in the USA we are from a small village in the UK called Codicote and have been visiting the USA since 1995. We have two states left to see Hawaii and Maine. Take care and keep them coming.
Fuck Maine .. You must see Hawaii. Maui for sure. BTW i'm from new england ... nothing here is better than Hawaii
it could take a lifetime to explore hawaii... Maine will be cool for a day or so. Trust me.
Hawaii will be our final State to see then it's east to west Canada. We just missed Maine a few years back we stayed overnight in Manchester NH. Every State has something diferent we just love the US.

Hey Adam! Fun Fact! Circus Circus was the inspiration for one of the casino's in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas! To Quote Raul Duke. "It is where hep cats would go If the Thrid Rich won the war"! The Rotating bar was a huge part of the movie. :) Just thought you would like to know being a big Movie buff like me :)

Adam - if you plan to come through Missouri, I recommend going through the sleepy town of Highlandville, just south of Springfield. You will discover the greatest burger you have ever eaten there named "South of the Border" at EE. After that you absolutely MUST check out Branson, MO and then Eureka Springs, AR. Hit me up if you're in the area. Burger is on me!

Hey Adam, I was born and raised in the City just south of Vegas called Henderson, I live in Utah now but every now and then I travel to Vegas, I kind of despise Vegas now but sometimes its ok to visit but I will never live there. I really enjoyed your tour of the whole surrounding area of Southern Nevada and Northwest Arizona which I know very well and I have been through alot of those wicked Thunder storms as well, be safe Adam.
82-94,Lake Mead BLVD and Nellis Road. Rode my bicycle in most places include Boyd Bowl for fireworks. Felt the shockwave of Pepcon.
I was Stationed in Germany at the time when the Pepcon facility blew up, but I heard about it shortly, my uncle was driving a forklift in a factory a mile away and the concussion threw him off the vehicle.

That same storm passed through Vegas yesterday and caused havoc. Glad you got to see Nelson and other places just ahead of it. Monsoon season causes totally random rain in the desert. And as a local, I also do not like the strip, most locals never go there! I haven't been in a strip casino in years honestly.
