Did you like it if you watch it enough you get addicted and start to understand the game...... Everyone no matter who my friend has a different view of the rules, it's literally the most openly interpretation of the rules of a game you can find.

the only really out there rule is "holding the ball" when tackled. Otherwise it's a fairly straightforward game of football. I say this as an American and hardcore fan of American Gridiron Football. AFL Football is defined by "underhand passes" with a bump of the fist from underneath, and "marks" : a kick of 15 meters or more that is "caught". A mark gives you a free kick. Otherwise you can tackle, scramble, block, nudge, and otherwise obstruct any other play. AFL rocks. I love it. I'm especially grateful that it exists in the NFL offseason. GO PIES!

@judahbaggerman2294 what you have just witnessed was a bias game of footy. Collingwood the biggest club in afl have always been the umpires pets. Their was that moment they had run over 35 meters without bouncing and got a goal. Giving frees to Collingwood after a tackle on dockers player that did not have prior. It works like this, if you get the ball and get tackled right after receiving the ball it's not a free kick to the other side. But if you try to fend off the tackler or have have time to hand ball it away it then becomes a free to the other side. But the umpires cept giving Collingwood free kicks in front of the goal for no prior tackles. That is how they get Collingwood in the lead. Simply receiving the ball and running left or right for a second is not enough time to pass or kick.

If they’re gonna give that free, then they need to pay all the legit frees instead of putting away the whistle. But they won’t, because AFL love the chaos and drama.

33 minutes and 4 seconds passed between the 1st and 2nd QTR where Fremantle scored 1 point. 47 minutes and 25 seconds passed between the ending of the 2nd QTR into the 4th QTR and Fremantle scored 4 points. That's 80 minutes and 29 seconds they scored 5 points, out of 121 minutes and 4 seconds of football. Nearly 70% of a match and the Dockers score less than a goal, yet the result is a draw and on their home ground. I'd be very displeased why this lack of change in attacking football seemingly hasn't crossed the coaching staff's mind?

Fremantle is 2 points and 3.8% off 4th position on the ladder. The overall average score across the competition is 83.03 and Fremantle's is 76.54. I'd hate to see as a Dockers fan the damage that could bring in 3 months time.
Michael Malthouse had the best defensive team in the 1990's and could win low score games, but had X factor players like Peter Matera who kicked multiple goals in games that required it and Fremantle need the same, if they are to raise the Premiership Cup 😊

Unlike the goal at the end of the first quarter which shouldn’t have been a free. The Darcy one is 100% a rule and is a free kick every time

All the maulding Collingwood supporters whining about the free given to Freo in 4th quarter while conveniently forgetting the kick they were gifted at the end of 1st quarter.
You could have won, we could have won, in the end it was an exciting game and a hard fought draw (And hey you had five more shots at goal than us, maybe work on your aim).
Both teams had suspect first qtr frees in their 50 for a goal. Pies one was way more weak, but they both scored from them. The free in the last to Freo spawned their entire comeback, and was just plain terrible. Not to mention the textbook duck in the middle of the ground that lead to the drawing point. Collingwood can mostly hold their head up, their scrapped together team full of newbies.

@@LucUltraRWB the free was also there for Darcy, it’s in the AFL rules (13.8 if you wanna look, “a player must hand the ball to the umpire at a stoppage, if they place it on the ground or give it to another teammate it is deemed as a delay of game and a free kick will be awarded to the opposition”

Free kick Collingwood, gifted them a goal at 1:22 . Jaeger also got called for holding the ball 3 times with no prior, leading 2 to more goals. Freos team last night was on average 2 years younger and 30 games less tenured. No excuses to choke like that.

I predicted this was going to be a close match about a week-and-a-half ago and while it didn't look like I was on the money when Collingwood got out to a 25-point lead late in the fourth quarter, Fremantle never gave up. Sharp nearly won it for the Dockers, but he did take away two Premiership Points from the Magpies. Fremantle didn't give up and that's why this didn't become a blowout at full time.
Let's get back to the point where Collingwood blew a 25-point lead. If it was during the second quarter or even early in the third quarter, I would've maybe cut them a bit more slack, but how the f*** do you blow that lead in the FOURTH QUARTER?
I'll give the Dockers credit for not giving up. At 5:08, the sign says "HERE'S WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING". Could that have foretold this comeback?
