- Ollie's first live performance of his Eesti Laul 2024 entry "My Friend". He sang it after an interview in the show "Hommik Anuga" (Morning with Anu). OLLIE participated in Eesti Laul 2023 as well, singing "Venom". He was the runner up, beaten only by Alika, who placed 8th in Eurovision 2023 with "Bridges". OLLIE is the favourite to win this year, although he first has to qualify from the semi final on January 20th.

@@sunxpres3696 It can't... maybe a qualification to finals, but not top 5. It will be the same what happened to Let 3 last year. They ended up on the right side of table, because people and jury didn't really enjoy it much later on. As a joke yes, but later it was annoying. Same will be with this song. It's not bad, but it's a joke.

I like this a lot, but… Is it really live? Sounds like there‘s still some editing going on. But whatever, we all know he‘s going to perform well when it‘s really live, so it doesn’t really matter now. What I found interesting is that this performance was in a different key than the original studio version…
And I really liked the whole idea of the stage getting dark for the chorus. So simple but effective.

About it being live. That's a good question - because nowadays there is ways to do live effects in very good quality, so that'd still be live technically. And you'd use some effects anyways live as well - otherwise you'd do it accapella and even no microphone coz even mic adds effects, distorts the availabe frequency ranges and so forth.
