  • Dozens of mourning doves root around for safflower seed during and after a snowfall. Blue jays and a cardinal show up later for peanuts. Includes footage of the mourning dove's signature vocalization!

After that last snow covering, it looks like they're asking you for more food! 😊 Nice video!

"Did it snow last night?" "Yes, ma'am. It was a real cloaca-chiller!"

"Cloaca" HAHA! Another enjoyable video. Quick question: what software do you use to create the animations and titles? Well...questions, I guess, what camera are you using? Thanks very much!

Thanks for commenting, Brian! I am happy to answer any and all questions folks have. The camera used for this footage was a Campark T180. It's a solar camera you can also charge from an outlet, and you can use rechargeable batteries for backup. Unlike most CZcamsrs (it seems), I do NOT use Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing -- tried it, didn't like it. Despite its flaws, I've stayed with Cyberlink PowerDirector -- much easier to use, IMO.

@@thesuburbanmorrigan Thank you, much appreciated. I use Corel VideoStudio and sometimes it works great, other times it is so slow I can barely use it. Limited animations as well. I'll check out the camera. Thanks again!
