The MOST POWER LASER I have ever used! (Creality Falcon2 40w CNC)

- This is my full testing and evaluation of the Creality Falcon2 40w CNC laser cutter and engraver. This thing is powerful! I was able to cut clean through 3/4" hardwoods in a single pass. It can definitely cut thicker materials with several passes as well. This is an excellent choice laser for people looking to speed up their productivity with a high power and high speed cnc laser. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like I just watched the most obvious "paid-promotion-pretending-to-be-an-honest-review" video on CZcams.
You're not. This channel has truly fallen from grace as Dan has become more desperate for money, which is ironically just alienating his fanbase and decreasing revenue more and more.
So nice to see you getting back dan. The possibilities are endless with these machines, you keep impressing me over & over, can’t wait to see what’s next.
Finally caught a video fresh!!!
You're wearing my favorite G&G shirt! wearing mine today
Great to see you again brother. Maybe a little more often,3 or 4 times a week will help the numbers and subscriptions here in you tube. Love you brother and have a blessed day !!!
You should sell some of those 'experiments' on the store as factory 'seconds'.
So many neat tools. I just want room and the basics needed to make some basses and see how they turn out and you are here getting fancy with lasers ;)
This is SERIOUS!
I have a lot of experience with a 40W CO2 laser from Universal Laser Systems and it doesn't cut nearly as quickly as this Creality 40W solid state laser. Impressive! I was expecting half the performance, not twice the performance. I build CNC machines and I'd like to buy a 40W solid state laser module to build my own laser, even though I already bought an 80W laser tube and power supply.
Been a hot minute since your last video. I hope all is well with you and the family
Sculpfun has the air pump powered by the machine also.
I told them last year they needed an extension kit for the falcon 1...still waiting...lol. What's your opinion on the Falcon 1 vs 2? Worth the upgrade?
Hey man what is that black material on the glasses you engraved? Is it a spray?
It is easier to decide wood size with cnc. What about traditional building? I don't know how many fretboards I can get with a 11 x 115 x 4 cm (width x length x hight) ebony piece. Do you know how I can calculate?
Can you retro fit a laser into the creality models if you buy the 10w model. Can get an 80w laser for a reasonable price nowadays.
Is it able to cut lexan or plexi glass or will that just turn into a mess?
only coloured acrylic, not clear
i watched it 2 hours after upload forgot to comment
2nd shot at the awaited innovated acoustic lasercut v2? 🎉🎉❤
If you want top speed you have to go into the laser settings in lightburn and up the acceleration be warned it can degrade engrave and cut quality.
I always have a fondness for American using the metric system. But you know, 2500mm is simply 2.5 meters =) Which is easier to say and grasp.
It's traditional in CNC to quote mm and not meters, but speed is more often quoted in mm/second and not mm/minute.
This is the 9th video I've watched on the 40 watt Falcon2.
They advertise that it will cut metal
Ok . . . How about some easy metal
1/8 " aluminum
Or is Creality afraid to show us anything but balsam wood?
I don’t think it can cut 1/8” aluminum. Basically it can cut aluminum foil, which is not that helpful, that’s probably why you don’t see people doing it. But cutting 3/4” maple is pretty freaking impressive.
Compare this to a 3mW(0.003W) laser pointer. Imagine a fraction of that power(40W) gets to your eyes through reflections! Extremely Dangerous😢. Not sure how, its even allowed to be operated without an enclosure and safety interlock switches! Just some 💭
Great video but I almost went deaf and blind watching it. Levels were too high hearing the machine, and you white levels were peaking so hard
Not so speedy after all.
To bad!
R13 insulation is 27$ how are you cheap about your wall, the house you live in by filling it up with cardboard 😂 but not your hobby? 🤣🤣 priorities
Dan sup braddah u good homie?
