Here's the first video in a series on Dutch word order. This is a topic I get a lot of questions on, and for good reason. It's not an easy topic. Since there is a lot to say about Dutch word order, I have limited myself to the basics for this video. Future videos will cover more advanced topics, so stay tuned or subscribe to the channel.

Sentence structure is the one thing that has constantly confused me with trying to learn Dutch and has result in many a plateau with my learning. You made something seemingly complicated very simple to understand.
Also, your explanation of what a subject and verb are is such an easy explanation for those who donât understand grammar in general. This is helpful to those people who were never taught basic grammar, so have no idea what is meant by a verb etc. Stating that a verb is an action word is such a great way to clarify it.
You do not seem to have made any recent videos. That is a pity as you are a born teacher, but, itâs great that these videos are still on the web helping many throughout the years, become fluent in Dutch.

I really enjoyed this video even though I am at the very beginning of learning Dutch. When I say very beginning I mean that I still have to learn the Dutch Alphabet and how to pronounce each letter properly in Dutch. So you can see how much of a beginner I really am. But this video is wonderful. It is so clear and concise as to the structure of a sentence in Dutch. Thank you so much for this video and please make more videos on this subject of sentences as this is really helpful. I really want to learn the Dutch language so I will keep an eye out for more of your videos. Thanks once again.

Hi Christopher, thanks for watching my channel. Unfortunately I don't have quite enough videos yet to be able to say that it's a full program. I would recommend finding an existing method and supplementing it with my videos, as well as other materials that you can find. It's always best to use multiple sources and methods when learning a language: It'll help you understand things better, and it'll keep you from getting bored
