They really need to add these mods to the actual game.
I think they are adding a vigilante mode. On their website they mentioned that a mode like that will come in a future update, probably with the new map along with the 15 player lobby update.
Mods are always separate from game. That's the point, modifications that are optional

Seems like vigilante should generally refrain from killing, and should prefer to call emergency meetings. The only time vigilante really needs to kill is when imposter is camping the button. Vigilante needs superior kill range than impostors.
Vigilante mode seems better for imposters. Its spicy and chaotic. Impostors can openly kill and claim they are vigilante. Great content
I think a copycat would be a cool character they pick one person and that decides their roll if that person dies they die too if crew they have same tasks, if imposter they get a 2x long kill cooldown
