Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. If you enjoy Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, definitely give Town of Salem a try
Yo that Jest game was golden. By the time 9 died it became the pandemonium of 3 jesters yelling and accusing each other of being evil while the rest of the town sat back and watched, and the arson in the background probably laughing while they prepare to reap the rewards. This was legendary

Tbf town tried to fix the issue (Sheriff found both inno and was saying repeatedly), but the jesters were screaming so loud at each other no one seemed to notice. Like watching 1 dude try to break up a big fist fight with 9 the passer-by already knocked out XD
@@BiohazardPsycho I think its more likely that everyone noticed, but just didn't care. 2 of the 3 remaining Townies innoed, there were just too many evils more interested in breaking the TP chain. All 3 Jesters made good plays, but the other 2 got stuck with a terrible town composition that wasn't interested in their shenanigans.
Its like that one scene in Pirates of the Caribbean where everyone is aiming guns at each other.

Mildly surprised Pipe didn’t point out to 15 that it didn’t matter anyway because of the ignite. Idk if there would have been a way for all three jesters to win after that even if 15 hadn’t died.
gotta love how everytime there's a jest lynch the guy who hard pushed the jest gets angry when they get haunted but forget that the point of the jest is revenge for the lynch
imo if they knew the guy was jest and decided to help em out regardless and get you that win, I think it’s in good faith to either not haunt them or to haunt someone of their choosing. but when it’s obvious that they had no clue about the jester and are just salty they got haunted… that’s a different story.

I was 9 this game and I have to say, I was completely convinced that pipe was town with the way they were playing. The only time I was suspicious of him was when he changed his claim from BG to doc lmao

Only time I saw more chaos than this was a CAA game with SIX JESTERS. Almost all of them got their wins. Every trial was pure chaos, thinking "I swear to God this better not be another jest"...but they just kept coming! Every time we thought we had a lead it was another jest!

@@ShinxyMuro It was. I died late into the game, pretty sure it was to one of the haunts, after the third to last one was hung. Every time a new jest was revealed and the graveyard started piling with pink, dead chat was in hysterics. I know somebody else actually said they were recording it and offered to send me the footage, but I was too paranoid with giving out my email (even my generic backup one) so I declined. I don't know if they did anything with it, but even if they uploaded it somewhere it'd probably be too hard to find.

The fact that most of them actually got wins is incredible. From my experience, whenever there's more than 3 jesters in a game, votes just stop happening at some point of the game. None of the jesters want to risk getting haunted or the person getting lynched ending the game, so they just won't vote period. Had a game like this, where I was mafia with 1 more guy, the last townie was vet and there were multiple jesters between us. Veteran was likely to have alerts and none of the jesters wanted to vote, so... I had to kill them off one by one until my mate and I got majority over that one vet. Not one of my proudest moments, but I did what I had to do for that mafia W.
Coming back a year later to watch old TOS content; I know this game had balancing issues but I have such fond memories of TOS1. Rounds were like the wild west and people cared more about having fun than winning and losing. Miss you lots TOS

9 was the literal most innocent person that could have been gaught in the crossfire and were the first to die.
I’d argue 9 and 11 were the “most innocent” of the town. 9 just wanted to TP chain and 11 wanting to stop the fighting between people he found inno.
Ultimately, all the bickering didn't even matter. Town already had evil maj. When 9 went up, there were only three other town left. He didn't get lynched because of a psy will, he got lynched because evils wanted to break a TP chain.
A jester trying to hang a jester by listening to a jester who is actively trying to kill the other jester. Legit 3 jesters all just pointing fingers at each other(pipe, fake psy. And 15 lol)

everything just fell into place with this game: 9 being an actual Real TP, 4 with the flummery-looking will that involved the "TP chain", and 15's super aggro trapper push 😂... all that with a dash of town that just stayed behind and let you guys duke it out 😂 GGs!

15's saltiness is soooo delicious. I mean, they lynched your personal doctor and figured you should somehow be grateful to them? IMO if you guilty a jest and haven't made a pact with them beforehand, then you got outplayed and have to take the consequences. Also, it's not like they were going to live through the night so what difference does it make?
I love how the game revolved around 7 and 9 chaining and (fake) psychic just jumping in.
Two jesters desperately trying to lynch each other in an attempt to get themselves lynched is the most hilarious form of comedy you can find in Town of Salem.

Honestly though. Literally just a circle of jesters bullshitting about while the entire town watches and does nothing to stop them for days, and by the time they do take action the town is burnt to the ground. Truely one of the most chaotic games I've seen.

@@a-levelking8610 yeah. TOS isn't too loud so it's usually just pipe talking. Videos are like 20 mins, right around how long it takes to sleep. Pipe posts right around midnight for me. Perfect storm of sleepiness
same, but ironically this is the first pipe vid in a long time i've given my full attention to instead of falling asleep to because it was so entertaining
Biggest reason the game went the way it did was 9/15 people were evil with it quickly going down to 9/13 evils. Pretty sure almost everyone knew 15 was bad, which was why they were happy to lynch the TP chain instead.

Yeah, as others said not knowing pipe was jest would make him confirmed town and not evil. 15 thought he was pushing a townie so that would make him evil. 15 is wrong in dead chat because of that. Him not knowing what he was doing, but guessing Pipe was actually TP chaining, make his logical play go the other way due to the reality of the roles.

17:58 That's exactly my rules for jester kills too. Though I also add - If I was Exe turned jester and I was attacked by an evil while Exe - If the win was achieved myself with little/no help from the evil and I know who that evil is, I will either kill that evil or random.
If that same evil is instead pivotal to my jester win, I always help them.

It was a heavily opposite of stacked town. 9/15 of them were evils. And alot of confusion from jesters with not enough TI or TK to clean things up.

It's funny, 15 basically played Pipe in the same way he got played (neither thought the other was Jester), but he could not stand to lose.
one today's episode: Jester spends 5 days pushing another jester on the word of another jester in an attempt to get lynched themselves, however was inevitably brought down by the jester they were pushing after realizing they were jester with the jester who gave them said word being victorious in getting themselves slain, ending with a surprise arsonist obliterating the town.

I legit had a game once where _an actual Psychic_ got lynched because their evil vision was 1, 2, 3 in perfect order. Nobody would ever expect that to be real.
I've been lynched for having 13,14,15 in order as legit Psychic, everyone refused to believe I wasn't evil or at the very least Jester. Didn't take it too badly, if I was on the other end I'd probably be clicking guilty too lol

This video is proof that a role that needs to vote out someone or vote themselves out is a good role in social deduction games. Even if it could be boring sometimes as a new player. You having to use the motivations of both good and evil to bring attention to you can be an interesting experience in all angles. I do like ToS’s jester because it doesn’t end the game and can influence the game’s outcome with one simple kill.
I think this video could have been named, the battle of the jesters, jester duels or something like that.
