- Following his odd no contest in his previous PRIDE performance, Ukraine's unstoppable KO kickboxer Igor 'Ice Cold' Vovchanchyn had his sights set on win #38 as he faced BJJ ace & judo blackbelt Francisco 'Chico' Bueno and his 2-0 pro record.

Vovchanchyn was my favourite fighter in those early MMA days. He had very accurate striking and great cardio.
No doubt
Igor was my favorite one to watch. The underdog against huge guys and usually came out on top!!
one of the best knockouts ever! Igor was such a beast
Well because his opponent is not a striker
Ice Cold!! Tournament king !
My boy IGOR 👊
In those days some BJJ coaches had a terrible idea that only BJJ is enough to fight against complete MMA fighters in world level events. You can see how much inexperienced Bueno is with his rockies crossing sidesteps…
Now great Ukrainian boxer Usyk will play the role of great Ukrainian MMA fighter Vovchanchyn in a Hollywood movie. It is announced already.
looked like he killed him
*This is my favorite Knockout of Igor's. No bueno for Bueno!*
do not thumb up your own comment dumbie
NASTY!
Igor vs. Tim Sylvia would have been an awesome fight.
Well, when they were both in their primes, Sylvia was a Monster on steroids. The way he crushed prime Ricco was something out of this world. After 2004 Tim was still elite, but not like the years before.
Btw Tra Tellingman defeated Igor , i think Tim would tko him in the 3 rounds
@@marcocilione1864 I agree, I don't think Igor could handle Tim Sylvia's size and reach advantage.
Tra was washed up and visibly deflated when he fought Sylvia. The fight w Tra VS igor was close, could have easily gone the other way if not for the nut shot and slipping on the canvas later on.
However, to be fair, Tim could have frustrated Igor with long straight punches, since it's a counter to the russian hooks, like arlovski almost did vs Fedor. Reach is good but so is footwork and speed, which Tim doesn't have.

@@meissnerflux You made very good points, that's fair. Imho the Tim Sylvia that crushed Ricco like a bug, would destroy Igor. Their prime never co existed, so it's hard Imagine a fight between them. The best version of Igor was in 2000, when he defeated Kerr and Sakuraba.
Desligou o disjuntor
Chico bueno parece que travou
Lol ...put him to the side,guys..
You can see how inexperienced Bueno is with striking, he’s flinching and throwing both hands out every time Vovchanchyn throws a fiend. Kind of sad really. Child’s play.
Na verdade o Chico Bueno era um baita Striker lutava de igual pra igual com pesados do boxe só que ele sempre foi um cara monstro de treino porém medroso na hora de lutar
Right before the punch u can hear in Russian (Probobly Igor’s coaches ) saying , right hand will land Igor , right hand will land , and it did landed
