Aufführung im Rahmen eines Gottesdienstes am Karfreitag, 1.4.2021, in der Stiftskirche Stuttgart.
Aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie waren nur wenige Zuhörer*innen zugelassen, und das Werk konnte wegen der begrenzten Dauer des Gottesdienstes nur in einer etwas gekürzten Fassung gespielt werden.
Der Ton wurde professionell aufgenommen, die Videoaufzeichnung erfolgte spontan mit einem iPhone 11. Ton und Bild wurden von Hand synchronisiert, so dass es sein könnte, dass das Ergebnis nicht ganz perfekt ist.

It breaks my heart see so few people listening this marvelous music. I teach my children to love classical music since they were very young. I started with music that tells histories or as Britten, that teach how instruments sound. Peter and the wolf, Ma mère l'oie, The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra and others. When they were a little older, they love to watch Turandot in DVD. They were captivated and discussed the story. Those were good times.

Thank you! But don't worry about our audience in Stuttgart: very often we have "full house". But this performance took place during the pandemia, and at that time there were only 100 persons allowed in the church. It also was not allowed to sing, so that's why we had to switch from a big oratory to an instrumental piece.

@@user-pq9yg2pq6h Unsere Orgel ist bei Bach immer gleichschwebend gestimmt. Das bedeutet aber nicht, dass die Streicher in der hohen Lage auch so spielen.

I wrote the answer in the comment under the video, but only in german, sorry: Because of the Pandemia the performance was held as a service, not as a concert, and so the part of the music had to be shorter than in a regular concert.
