Having the rear camera on all of the time sounds like a good idea, however according to the Soundstream technician I spoke with leaving the camera on all of the time could burn the image of your tow vehicle onto the screen. They recommended just turning the camera on every so often to check on things then turn it off.
Good point. Also, it’s not adjustable, so it isn’t the best tow vehicle camera. At least on the 2019s. It does look like the have an adjustable on the 2020s.
I have one in a 2020 Alante 29S. I was hoping to hook up some external speakers of better quality. I see phono plugs on the back of the unit but I can't get any sound from them. Do you have a solution?
we just bought a 2019 Greyhawk with this radio. When I put it on XM it says "check tuner". Does that mean we need to buy a tuner in order to activate the XM?
Any suggestions about how to adjust the sensitivity of the unit? When we try to enter an address with numbers and letters the screen is so sensitive you get several digits or letters when you only want one, then when you back space to correct it erases everything. There must be a setting of some kind to adjust this sensitivity situation.
We just purchased a 2020 Enterga. This is the sound system it has. Question 1- I can’t seem to set the clock. I have done the the auto setting and tried manual it seems to set for a few minutes then it goes back to about 5 hours off. I’m frustrated that I can’t get it to work. Question 2. Do you think this system is hooked up to the TVs in the rv and I can use it as a DVD player or do I need to purchase a stand alone DVD player. No one explained this to me and the dealer we purchased from is in Florida and we are in NY. Thanks for your help.
Entegras are nice! That's what we almost bought! Hmm. The clock one is weird. If I had to guess, it's some sort of wiring issue. IT sounds like it isn't getting the constant power it should get. Or the unit itself is bad. Unfortunately, there are a lot of faulty ones. I'd reach out to the dealer and see if they can do anything. If they can't, reach out to Entegra/Jayco. See if you can use a mobile tech. Honestly, I'd ask them if you can replace it with a unit of your choice. They've done that for a number of folks. More than likely, it probably only plays DVDs to the closest TV. My RV only had one tv- I added another, but there wasn't any way to input the DVD player. If I can make a recommendation- if you do replace it with a DVD player, make sure it can stream- like Roku or fire tv. That will give you a ton of choices when you are camping. Well- as long as you have the internet. Sorry that the radio is frustrating- I am really bummed they put this in here. I feel they could have chosen a much, much better unit. I moved on to a Kenwood DNX995S. It is a complete 100% replacement for the Soundstream. Whether this is your first or if you've had multiple RVs, they are awesome. We love ours and take it out as much as we can.

@@rickl9879 look at the very beginning of the video- on the home screen. It has a picture of a car at the bottom middle and says camera. Tap that and you can view the camera. It's also in a few other screens, but that is the symbol for it.
Is there a card in it? The card slot is in the top right corner. If the card isn't there, reach out to your dealer to get one. There is also a chance that the card is corrupted, too. In that case it would probably also need to be replaced.
@@eeek5127 yeah, nothing seems to work. It’s the same exact radio. The Bluetooth icon will blink but when I switch over to the Bluetooth page nothing pops up on my iPhone

The “Key” setting in the GPS volume settings is for the volume of the “click” that occurs when you tap GPS screen icons.

I have a 2019 Seneca and my unit does not have the “car” symbol for the camera, what could be wrong with it?
I plugged in my phone but I’m getting “usb not supported”…Do I need a special USB cord ?

That’s correct. While the 2019 radio is XM ready, it did not come with a tuner.

I hit the automatic screen adjustment on the gps and now just get a white screen with a cross hair that moves around if you touch the screen.

Chuck Sweet after you type in an address, hit the more button at the bottom of the screen. The hit ‘Add to Favorites’

Greg Higgins what phone do you have? The Soundstream always broadcasts Bluetooth, so you’ll need to figure out how your phone connects.
