The queue line is stunningly beautiful!
As a resident of the OC who has been to Disneyland many times, I must say Haunted Mansion is one of my favorites. This sister-ride looks so fun!!!! Similar to Haunted Mansion, but with its own unique storyline (and catchy music)! Yet another reason I want to visit Paris….
I agree and I feel like Phantom Manor is a more darker version than its two sister mansions. I love the Haunted Mansion, but the way they envisioned it was to be a more lighthearted joyful ride with some darker tones, where this ride feels dark in general.
Rachel Vass Don't call it that.
joeylantis22 She can call it whatever she wants. lol
Ch1y0s3n Yup she can. Calling Orange County "The OC" is a joke from a popular Netflix TV show, Arrested Development.
+joeylantis22 just so you know people in SoCal have been calling Orange County the OC way before the popular tv show "the OC" and also "Arrested Development" is a very old tv show that aired on fox then got cancelled. Then Netflix picked it up YEARS after. Get your facts straight.
Here is the translation :
In the hall :
"You… you who have dared disturb the peace of these halls… Will you have the courage to step through the door of this house? Go on, don’t make me beg you, enter! What are you waiting for? Don’t be frightened now, as far as you have come… Show yourself in the light, so I can have a look at you! You have nothing to fear, my dear friends. Go on, step inside, I have so many things for you to discover!"
I love the story for the Phantom manor in paris! It's a whole lot more involved with frontier land! And it's creepy as heck!!
Go on! Tell us more. Can you? Please?
I like the backstory of the Phantom Manor, there's just something about it that makes it more mysterious.
I cant speak french so i didn't understand. Please can someone explain in english to me?
Dat Fangirl What do u want to know ? The story from the Phantom Manor ?
Denton Ravenswood yes exactly! im really curios!!
if i remember well, it's the story of a girl who's forced to marry a dead man some kind of skeleton and this is their Mansion. If you ever do this ride you'll see paintings of the mansion before dark things happened there. One of the best attraction in disneyland paris!
Kat Frosting Pretty cool. Thanks.
Seeing Phantom Manor in person is on my bucket list. It's fantastic.
I went on this in like 2009 I will never forget it it's one of my earliest memories ever
i had a weird dream last night about going there by myself
***** Same
+Joshua Orro Please tell us more about it, because I don't remember dreams that well.
It's a small world afterall
same but not by myself
the only reason I want to go this park is because of this ride!! looks very creepy.
Miss Shaant big moutnain is fun too! But i think this is my Second favorite! But the line’s are soooooo longgg 😫😥 (sorry for my bad English)
Liked the spooky deserted cue line but just like version in Disneyland that ride is tough to film being so dark inside.
I love the design of the house, it was posted on a haunted house page and then upon further research I discovered it's actually a ride. 😅
Yes?
The Haunted Mansion in Disneyland doesn't have all the dead corpse skeletons laughing at you and trying to fricking kill you!! I thing the disneyland one is better for younger kids but this one if you want more of a thrill!
this looks way scarier than the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland lol.
Ikr, I rode the one in Florida at Disney world, and this makes the one I rode look like a merry go round or something lol
Ikr! It definitely looks more put together. It also has a great back story which is also really thought out.
Yea
And darker
Holy... Yeah it does but it might actually BE haunted!!!
Thanks for the complete tour, the inclusion of the far off shots & the gazebo is wonderful! I wish I could visit the manor in person!
Thank you again for another awesome video! I love this ride and I love Disneyland :)
I went here for vacation! It was really fun, and this ride was my favorite.
Great haunted house!! not particularly scary, but it is very beautiful and nicely done, I enjoyed the ride very much.
Given the fact that this is Disneyland Paris, I don't suppose it is meant to be very scary lol.
It gets better near the end - I like the blue heads! Also it's good the strobing scenes were sporadic so that you don't see more than you should scenery-wise.
Can't wait to go back on this
I like how both of the American haunted mansions share the same storyline and basically the same thing, but it seems that the foreign ones each have their own thing going on while still sharing multiple similarities. makes me want to check them all out tbh, which is probably the purpose
Beautiful Video....my favourite Version of all Videos of Phantom Manor 😍💀👻👰🕵
I was born and raised in Orlando fl my dad worked at Disney for 25 years and I must say you tend to get use to your own local version of the ride.
Wow..just got back from Disneyland in California, and was researching about different Haunted Mansions, decided to check out Phantom Manor..this is scary and very dark! Cool, but you can tell it's lacking the presence of Marc Davis and the comic relief from the other HM's.
Love this!
Love this ride, still one of my faves ;-)
House filled with french ghosts... reminds me of an episode of the Real Ghostbusters...
If it was filmed in France. LOL!
Love this ride!
Thanks for the vid. Love Disneyland Paris.
Thank you so much for this video! :)
This version of Phantom Manor is my absolute favorite. The darker story is amazing. I have absolute respect for the Disney animators for creating such a incredible darker version of the original haunted mansion, and for anyone who disagrees then that is your opinion, but I have the most highest respect for anyone who has created this ride I had absolute respect for the late Vincent Price but I believe this with a French narration is the most incredible and upmost incredible version. I wish they kept the original French version but times have changed and people want to hear French and English which is ridiculous. In my opinion Mavis ride continue to be a favor to anyone who comes to the Paris Disneyland.
It's so funny to hear this serious, scary voice in the beautiful French language, lol!
I love this ride
that is way more scary for younger kids compared to Disney land California
Lol i was on it not really creepy
Remarkable how expansive the approach is and I like the touch with the little building and the music box musique playing.
In one ride in the Phantom Manor, everybody in the room was laughing along with the evil laugh when it gets dark. I've been on this ride for like a 100 times, but it creeped me out. Laughing everywhere! We had a reallynice group.
My favorite Phantom MAnor Video ever
Merci beaucoup !
Magical
Very nice ride. It seems perfect with no line at this hour of the day. It's a perfect amount of creepy, but you can still tell its disney due to the brilliant, excellent music sounding frightfully similar to many of the soundtracks associated with villains in the popular disney movies. Great ride.
The singing bust with the hat is missing...
Such a wonderful ride! I miss the park so much right now!
I miss Paris! I lived near by over there from 1974-1976, and Disney Land Paris hadn't even been conceived. I so want to go back over there and see if I can live there again, because transportation is so much better there if you're totally blind as I am. Health care is so much better over there, too. We've lost our innocence, and we're now a 3rd world country. It's so much worse if you live in the South, and public transportation is virtually nonexistent! I can't even use it anymore, because it's so unreliable. Too many people over here seem to think that we can't do anything, and I'm not used to this at all! I'm very independent. I used to have a Guide Dog, but I can't even use one now, because sidewalks are too messed up even for us to safely walk on them, and many places have none. That makes regular train use no longer accessible, and bus service, (if you can even get it on time), is hit or miss is weigh too many areas. I'd also have to go out 4-6 days a week to 2 or 3 places on a regular basis, which I wood if I could. Crime has gone up 600% since March of 2020, and most of us are not working here. It's an outrage!
It sorta looks like the Psycho house.
I love this ride cant wait to go back to paris ive been every year for 6 years with my kids :D
This is the scariest version of the ride by far.
Could you please make an HD video riding Big Thunder Mountain at about this time of day? Would be great..
This was my favourite ride😁
This makes you feel like you are there
Looks cool! At first I was wondering if anybody was even in the park . . . I'm not sure a French ghost could scare me though . . . I might die from laughter . .. "Je m'apelle" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!
😮😮😮😮😮😮
The best of each Haunted mansion !
Cool, I was @ this ride last month, it's awesome :D
Yep?
I like how it shares certain elements with its American counterpart while maintaining a sort of originality that is interesting and unique to experience on its own.
Were the mirrors at the end working properly? They haven't been working for a while.
You can't really tell which park is better. When I'm in Paris, I'm dreaming about being in Anaheim or Orlando sometimes. But as I stood in Main Street USA in Orlando last October, I wished to travel back to Paris again for the next Disney trip. Every park has its very own special atmosphere and so does Disneyland Paris: it has the most beautiful Disney castle, it's themed areas are perfectly designed thanks to Tony Baxter and the new Disney Dreams! show will blow you away...
This ride hasn't changed a bit since I last went to Disneyland Paris all the way back in 2001 haha.
only went last week !!
could you describe the paintings in the room that stretches? I went there when I was a kid and not only didn't I understand french, but I also was too small to see the paintings well.
I'm going to Disney Land tomorrow yey, gonna be so excited😂 to this phantom manor too ofc
im going next month
+Future Mrs Koury I came back on thursday , wait ur going to disney land paris? or in da usa ? if it is in paris and u are younger than 15 dont go to space mountain mission 2 it is super scary my sis 10 years cried after it , telling ya.. be careful
2:11 Isn't that used in Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland and Tokyodisney?
I remember when i was about 6 i went to disneyland paris, and also rode this attraction with my mom,
But in the middle of it there were problems with the power and we were stuck in this thing for about an hour!
I went there my child was closing her eyes half the time in the ride as she felt so throughout the ride
How much is a ticket for Disney Paris cuz I'm planning on going next year
I wish they did this for every haunted mansion ride this is awesome
How long does waiting in line for Phantom Manor take?
what time of year is this? the park seems empty. i am going next year and want to avoid the holiday rush.
thanks :)
That's the first time I've ever noticed the candles in the windows before
Mon attraction préférée à Disneyland Paris :)
Whooa?
omg i remember when i was a kid this acttraction freakin me out!!! so i was fucking scared and now im 20 years old and i like this Acttraction and Disneylandparis
Was it good??
Awesome! I was there last week. I don´t speak french and it was even more scarier then:D
Yeaaaaahhhhhhhhhh Booyeaahhh.
I'm so jealous right now OMG. I've been 5 times to DisneyLand andf once to EuroDisney but one of my dreams is to go to WDW
beautiful...
the sky's colour match with everything its a dream.. fantastic
too bad i will never make it there:(
ooookay.
Does anyone else find the ride more depressing than scary? :( Such a sad story to experience.
+365ral I guess Yeah. It's more weird than scary but it is quite scary as well.
This looks and sounds creepier then our version here..........GULP!!!!
Every time I watch a video from D land paris, no one seems to be there, at all
Yo estuve allí con mi madre y nos gustó mucho.
Más bien alucinamos.
Hay que ver las cosas que se hacen hoy en día.
uuhhhhhhhh.
Is that the Thunder lift hills making all that racket? My god they are so noisy!
I didn't ride this because i was too scared, Now i feel like seeing what Phantom Manor is like on this video :3
This ride is so grand... I rode it yesterday and I can't wait to ride it again. P.S. Have you visited the graveyard in the back of the manor? There are a lot of funny jokes on the graves, plus if you take a closer look at the (beautifully recreated) forest beyond the lake, you'll spot an abandoned wagon and two mooses!
Wow, this is very different than theone in California, and it seems creepier :D
@7276violet chill out. The surrounding garden is part of the story of the ride. The camera person did a great job.
The last section of the ride was not working when I was there last week, and I couldn't see it working in this video either! Suspect it's been broken for a long time and they've not fixed it?
In the last part of the ride you turn to face a row of mirrors where (when I went on it 20yrs ago) you could see in the mirrors, spirits/ghosts holding onto the rear of the cart you're riding in!
Just went there and it's finally fixed !
Georgia Bannana
So you can finally see the ghosts behind your cart?
+Neil Fawcett yeah they just refurbished the whole ride
Neil Fawcett Remember that from the FL ride. Thought it was pretty cool.
Interesting. One of these days I'm going to ride this one about four or five times! After I've hit the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay, the Cluny, etc.
es tal y como la recordaba!!!!!!😜
Huh?
You should. Paris is a great city and Phantom Manor is a nearly perfect ride.
I went on it yesterday! :) It kept on breaking down.... Haha :)
do they an eng once for the people who is away
I've heard minecon will be in disneyland paris resort!
Thank you!:) Sorry because I hear a lots of Rumour About it so I wasn't sure.Thank you! It makes sense now!
Is a attraction, or you can walk?
I love our Haunted Mansion here in Florida but I must say Phantom Manor looks better and has a more compelling story!
The mirrors at the end worked fine when i was there 2 months ago.
We (Me and my brother) went on this while we were young, there was a parade in Main Street USA so there was barely any queue so we went on it 3 times till i became unscared...
Phantom Manor and Thunder Mesa (the western town the land is set in) is set in California during the Californian Gold Rush, to watch the whole story, I recommend The Legend of Frontierland by TheCoasterFun. Enjoy!
Actually they're the way they used to be here at Disneyland. IOW, now instead of the slow fade effect, they change in sync with the lightning flashes (which I heard was what they initially had when the Haunted Mansion opened here back in 1969, but was not very effective with late 60's technology, so they switched to slow fade until 2005).
Liked it
yo fui a disney lan París y me gusto pero cuando fui tenia 6 años y cuando me monte tenia un montón de miedo y ahora la veo y me doy cuenta de que no da tanto miedo
Thanks for the video! It's a nice onride.
I like the ride and its concept, but I was very disappointed when I visited the Manor last year. Many effects weren't working, like the mirrors.
And why can't we see the face of the bride anymore? Now the detail that she's ageing can not be seen... I hope they will renew the attraction soon. There were a lot of updates for the Haunted Mansions, so maybe they can do the same thing with Phantom Manor?
I went on this and Tower of Terror when I was six
I grew up going to Disneyland in SoCal, and so did my kids. You cant go and not have crowds. I'd like to know when this was filmed? Where are the park guests?
*Tom Sampson Let me explain: I've been going to Disneyland Paris since I was 2 years old and it's usually always empty in the evening. That is because a much loved parade is on around that time in the evening, and everybody loves it, so they tend to watch the parade instead of going on rides.*
That's been a traditional thing for years at Disneyland. It's not just the teens. People of all ages do it. It's like a group thing for people who love the ride. They recite the entire speech given in the elevator, and then they all scream for fun. That's how it's been since the 70's and my mom was an adult.
