TXT was second place in the AMAs today, big achievement moas, the only 4th gen and the youngest to attend the AMAs!!!!
I don't know how else to explain it, but soobin has gen z on twitter humor like he's so snarky for no reason 😭 In general I feel like he makes "mean" comments and jokes but his whole demeanor is still warm and affectionate because it's obvious he's just joking and it contradicts every other aspect of his personality but imagine him saying all that with a straight face 😭

Soobin’s all soft giant.. but when you get him mad or competitive next thing you know he’s swinging his long limbs around putting everyone in danger.

TXT said it themselves that they exist to annoy each other XD Everyday is just pure chaos but they know their boundaries and have mentioned it a lot. And it's not just Yeonjun and Soobin bickering. It changes everyday for them.
When they were on the tour in US, Soobin and Beomgyu were bickering and people thought that they are fighting for real. They realized people outside their circle might think and worry that they are seriously arguing but that is because they do not know them. They said it's normal for them and that it's just their "aegyo" or smth like the dynamic of their relationship. They also said they are just having fun and will keep doing so because it's how they are. It's also how they show affection.
You might think their relationship is physical but they literally wrestle with each other like siblings LOL The pillow fights, the playful hitting, it's just them messing around and having fun. They even bite each other lol Me and my bestfriend do that too lol and we've been best friends for 15 years. This is very normal in most asian countries. But that is only within close relationships wherein you know the boundaries. This is how me and my friends are too. I'm putting this out here in case people misunderstand their relationship. Exchanging insults are even common because being sarcastic and clap backs are real fun too but of course, it's only valid if your relationship is already at that level of comfortability. I think people outside asian countries normally get surprised with this types of behavior which is totally understandable, but please dont automatically think bad about it. Of course, it doesn't apply to all relationships as there must always be this unspoken rule and understanding of how a person acts with another. It's very hard to explain but I hope people dont misunderstand.
Also Soobin probably just cursed haha They actually curse sometimes. It's not weird XD You can see some of it in TO DO or in other clips of them trolling each other.

The best part about the pillow fight bit is that there was no point or goal. It's, of course, possible it was scripted off-screen, but the facts as presented were that TXT was allowed to do "whatever they wanted" with no interference from the staff for 30 minutes as part of a random activity picker. Taehyun and Huening Kai decided to wrestle each other, but quickly got bored with just the two of them, so they started attacking the hyungs with pillows, and it all devolved from there. They literally did it to themselves because they don't know the definition of peace.
