She deserved the title shot after beating Xiaonan instead of Weili, but UFC was just desperate to get the belt away from Carla.
Marina was offered to fight Weili in a title eliminator she said No. Joanna said yes. Weili destroyed her with a back fist the rest is history.
No, she didn't. She arguably should've lost that fight. Not that it matters in hindsight, considering she lost badly to Jandiroba and Lemos right after.

And ppl should be thanking Weili for taking care of Carla something Rose failed to get done. Worst title fight in UFC history meanwhile Marina already lost to Carla.
