It made it through the night and back home again, I consider that a win
Always a relief to get home
Cams and adjustable cam gears will help with that powerband a lot especially on 2v’s
Gonna try to get the stock motor record for the 4.6l tbird. Will on my second engine
Probably should’ve foot braked one off the runs
Imma do that this week just to see. Only issue is that it builds no boost that way.
You made progress is what matters. It's slowly getting better. You need to pi head and intake swap it go from a low 300 to 400whp
I could get there with lower intake temps. Thinking about methonal injection
@Chief Dbo I agree that it would help but above all else those non PI heads are garbage with flow and you can get a PI intake anywhere minor flow improvements, also just as a FYI the throttle body off a 5.4l f150 is slightly bigger for flow on the outlet portion cheap junkyard mods. Anyway, I can't wait to see what's next. Keep it up, bud
@@jaceconder4584 npi heads are good for boost since they offer a lower compression ratio. Pi heads get most of their gain from the cam. i do agree the intake is way better.
@@ChiefDbothe pi heads flow better and make more power the higher compression is a good thing and that is part of why you make more power but they also flow better. The 99 mustang was up 35 hp stock from the 98 and once modified there is a larger gap between them. The higher compression would be great with boost just run boostane to be safe if you can't run e85. I think it would make it alot faster a pi head and intake swap with aftermarket cams.
@@midnight347 the hp gain is mostly in the pi cam and intake. the pi head by it self only flows a little better. When ported they're almost the same.
What tire pressure are u running in the rear and what gears did u put in
20 psi. Didn't mess with air pressure all night
@@ChiefDbo try 13-15 might not spin as much
You should do sick week
Might do some drag and drives in the future
Boosted, and struggling for 12's, must be NPI still. Thats gotta be frustrating 🤢
Yeah. Even got the original intake which is the worst one that came on the 4.6l😂
@@ChiefDbo yeah, that'll do it 🥴🤣. Damn trick flow intakes are stupid expensive, but I was gonna save for it, but I cant find a street burner in stock now. Guess I could deal with the little extra loss down low with track heat version. Its gonna have a 3500rpm stall anyhow.
