I’ve seen enough archival footage to know ancient Egyptians were black, simply based off their hairstyles. Many of the hairstyles depicted on ancient scrolls, you see in black cultures past and present (locks, beaded braids, cornrows, plaits, head wraps, twists, coils) black people are able to create amazing designs styles with our hair we see this throughout history. White hair is straight and doesn’t style easily, I usually see especially white women with their hair straight or in a simple ponytail. When you look at a black womans hair what do you see? The possibilities are endless for our hair, black men are able to style their hair as well. White men not at all. It’s very obvious they were black. This should no longer be a debate, white people just admit it, or don’t we know the truth. We know our ancestors when we see them.

Yes - it was historically inaccurate to show white people as ancient Egyptians - but the video is about the amazing knowledge of the Dogon. By focusing on one racial gaffe, you've totally missed the point of what it's all about. They also showed edible gross out candy when they described genetic tinkering. I doubt that was intended to be historically accurate either. In my opinion, the accompanying images were not supposed to represent historical fact so much as give us a slightly tongue in cheek visual image to accompany the narration.
I hear what you are saying. however, note that the Dogon are scarcely shown in this video and whites are shown big time. this tells me that the idea of race was not lost on this video in the eyes of its creator. The subject of the Dogon is presented here as factual. Therefor, The images, even if tongue and cheek, are meant to point to facts. It appears to me that the attempt here is to say that the Dogon accomplishments are due to the fact that they are the descendants of whites who had accomplished these things first. that is not a bad thing. That is history. To point out that the video has inaccuracies in regard to race does not mean that I do not focus on culture/Language. I spent time in Mali and I have spent time in Egypt and I am very familiar with the Cultures of both lands. I DO focus on the culture and I focus on the truth and If one shows the Dogon as looking European and dressing European, -- It is a distortion of history ; a belief of such distortion would cloud ones ability to focus or understand the culture at hand.
