  • Exploring sounds on Black Corporation's Deckard's Dream with multiple arps all sequenced by the Octatrack.
Check out my album which has loads of deckard on it:

Love this synth so much but still getting used to those sliders.
Effects are Strymon Dig Delay and a little bit of Valhalla vintage

This is one of the best DD demos I've seen on youtube. I love the musicality and how you showcase a broad range of textures and timbres. I'd love to see you upload more demos of the DD doing some pads, bass sounds, leads etc. Thanks for posting!

You more than anyone else on yt have delved deeper into the capabilities on this instrument.
Back in 79 I purchased a CS60 that has since been lost due to fire; the percussion sounds, in particular muffled timpani- which I see you’re well aware of- , but just about any other can be spot on if one devotes oneself and has an hear.
Great job steering clear of Blade Runner, interesting film though it may be.

Thanks Richard. Sorry to hear you lost your cs60. I've always wanted one of those

Never a (ring modulator) before or after was made quite the same.

What I appreciate is the immediacy of changing sounds and timbres on the fly. No menu diving to make music, just start experimenting. It’s the least daunting polysynth I’ve ever used.

I must admit this was one of the videos that made me pull the trigger for my DD. Visuals are superb too, really nicely done!

How are you liking it? Any quick thoughts on pros/cons and if you would recommend it over something like the P10 or a Juno 60?

@@lukerogersrequena1184 dd without the expander is quite limited in the sound design. The ring modulator will expand the shaping to infinite…have them both, same as you, triggered by octa until the osmose will come and make a duo that will live in its own universe. Great demo! With the expander, sometimes i get so lost into the sound of the dd that i can swear i am starting to hear voices in the background, sometimes like in a market, cars, etc. the analog fx are great for me. its a whole new world on its own. And somehow, i still havent find the right way to add it in my gear as a production set. This always shines on its own
