Epic Driveway Adventure!

When we bought a reno'd house we knew the driveway needed repair. Digging deeper, literally, we discovered a world of deep rot, invasive tree roots, scary garage beams resting on crumbling concrete, and a road ready to slide down into our house. A mere four months later and we have the strongest driveway (BC Seismic 2019 Building Code!) in Victoria. NZ Builders did the work: solved problems and provided a professional, friendly and competent solution to our challenging rebuild.

We knew the wood driveway had rot, and it would need some new beams. Turned out to be a lot more than that, and conforming to the 2019 BC Seismic Code on the side of a steep hill would bring a big job. Throw in an invasive tree, garage beams resting on a failing concrete wall, and a road slowly sliding into our excavation. Good times!
