All of this could've been settled from last night if Sportsmax had gone into the audience after the game to interview the two FIFA representatives that was there in the crowd, that the camera person/producer showed up on tv & asked if the referee make the correct call.
So what was the on field ref looking at if the 4th official had to call him over to tell him about something happening right before him.. There was no need for a retake..Player only saw a problem because the keeper made a save.

These commentators are the worst; have no clue about the sport. Especially the one that is saying the GK should wait and stop diving early.
- FYI diving early increases his likelihood of saving the PK.
Also whether or not it is the JC player’s fault why the ball is moving.
- the first rule of the PK is that the Ball, and the Goal MUST be stationary. Otherwise it has to be retaken.
Moving too early doesn’t increase the likelihood of making a save. Notice the use of “too”. You can get lucky obviously but as you can see most of the players were doing a pause in the run up so they could easily score if the keeper moved before the kick was taken.
@@rstinger94 opinion taken… nevertheless penalties are a guess game. Again moving early increases the likelihood of saving the PK. Also it is important that you know the rules. Players cannot pause on the run up. It’s a violation. They must be in motion..

Why still take the kick if you see the ball move the player should've stop before he kick the ball. Just because he misses that why he was complaining after. Robbery
Actually momentum would cause him to still kick the penalty he was in motion and the ball moved that threw him off and the keeper made the save the kicker went and pointed that out to the ref immediately. I understand it seems unfair I empathize with staths maybe they go on to win. Who knows? But imagine if you were the JC kicker and that happened to you and your team lost wouldn’t you feel hard done if the rules weren’t upheld? That do over didn’t end the shootout they had another kick n missed they had an opportunity to win it before sudden death n missed… these are the thin lines that separates champions from good teams I dont believe if that if the ball had moved like that before a staths player kicked he would have had the presence of mind to appeal immediately to the ref… anyways good try staths well done JC

After watching till the end, S.T.A.T.H.S was clearly robbed. But they still had the chance to kill the shootout in regular penalty kicks. But the 5th penalty taker missed his chance to give his team the trophy 🏆. Sad though 😢

I don't understand what the commentator was saying, how was it the kickers fault that the ball moved as he was about to kick. If he wanted STATHS to win, he could have said so. The player placed the ball and it was stationary, as he was about to kick the ball he rolled back, so I don't understand how it that the kickers fault. What did JC do to ppl why they hate the school so much. 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
