Every zone that you see in the game is like 10+ times smaller in-game than it is in the lore. For example, in the lore there's "days" of journey between Goldshire and Stormwind, but in-game its like 10 seconds.
My guess is he lost them *because* it's mostly large flat lands. There's little to no place for them to hide, specially if he was already suspicious of being tailed.
Honestly, they shouldn't tell Turalyon too much about Anduin or anything imo. If Lord of the Rings taught me something, stewards of the throne could potentially become a little hungry and refusal to acknowledge the true Heir of the thrones. Just saying.
WE know he is being called by Azeroth.. Genn and Shaw havent heard the call yet. It will begin making its way further and further over the next year. Speaking of Shaw, I wonder where his glorious/nutso boyfreind is these days??
"The golden one claims a vacant throne. The crown of light will bring only darkness." This particular whisper from Il'gynoth seems to pertain to him so yes, totally won't be surprised if he's gonna be a villain.
I understand Genn is tired, but getting his trivial background rogue daughter to become Queen without warning also seems a bit forced, TBH; his wife Mia on the other hand would make a much more competent ruler.
@@ArnoldTeras why move rule from one old person to another? mia is also quite tired and not really wanting the throne. Tess can be a good leader, its just that wow players wont give a chance to most things. whats forced about a old ruler passing the crown to their only living heir. if liam was alive itd probably be him Genn gave the kingdom to but hey,you deal with what you have.
Does Greymane have a new voice actor? It feels like he barely opens his mouth when he speaks. Greymane's voice used to be more... "present" whenever he spoke - more "this is a king who speaks".
@@MrOrcshaman I meant in the Stay a while and listen scenes the characters now use new animations that match what they are saying. In Bfa they would still use the standard emotes (idk why I called them idle)
Well, Horde characters keep getting killed off and not getting replaced: when Highlord Bolvar Fordragon left going from TBC to WotLK, King Varian Wrynn replaced him. When Benedictus left during Cataclysm, Genn Greymane was already in the castle. When Fendral Staghelm got turned into a raid boss in Cataclysm, Malfurion Stormrage was already back from his hibernation. The list goes on. Horde characters don't seem to get replaced as often; that's one of the reasons why I think they need to start developing characters like Rokhan and Firepaw, and why I'm glad Calia Menethil is being developed more. Also...shoot, they didn't have very many faction leaders as characters in Dragonflight in general, did they? The faction leaders kept away until Alexstrasza called for help, which has a lore-logical explanation in that Alexstrasza knew that the Horde and Alliance were in a more or less permanent state of war, and she didn't want either to try any power-grabs in the Dragon Isles, which both factions agreed to.
With Metzen back in the saddle that should start to change, he just needs a chance to set things up. Sure it's a bit Alliance biased right now, but it's also properly setting up that the leaders, particularly Genn of all people, are starting to see something is a little off with Turalyon. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next.
nope.. differnt voice direction though. Now he isnt all charged up for battle or screaming at the sky! LOL I listened to both this convo and the Gilneas reclamation.. .it *is* the same voice, to be sure.. but being acted appropriately for age, physical/emotional/spiritual fatigue.
Always fun to hear a real conversation in WoW. It's so rare.
The "listen" dialogue are somehow the best dialogue in the game. They speak normally and give each other though freely.
Anduin went to look for Mankrik's wife.
don't spoil it for him u_u
Maybe he should've visited...
Mankrik has a new wife
the old one or the new one?
@@MCcrepperify The old ones in maldraxxus going all viking. The new ones probably making Mankirk babies with him
Genn acting his age for once :D
Great to see
Bro should ask Anduin about marriage with his daughter, she looks beautiful btw 😅
He actually did in Before the Storm novel, or was trying to suggest it xD
@@catxborsuq1 Vanessa would be better, as she represents the commonfolk far more than Tess (the daughter of a monarch)...

How could you lose him in the Barrens its mostly large flat land

They probably got distracted trying to avoid Mankrik...
It's Anduin the multiclasser. After priest and paladin and death knight he might have picked up some levels in rogue.

Dont forget the old god whisper bout him
@@phy-raditz yeah I remember:

He's walking around Stormwind. Bro must have insane legs now. He's been doing it for years now with the time skip.
Yes, the less info given to Turalyon the better, he is so sketchy to me
I don't trust him he looks like a fanatic to me i wouldn't be surprised if he wants to be an yrel 2.0

Tbf this is a personal and slightly secret convo with a spymaster. Not really a time for a kings commanding voice.
@@mast3734 Fair point. But the thing is, he speaks exactly the same during the scenario in which we re-conquer Gilneas.
It sounds much better, imo. Sounds like a proper conversation between two people standing a reasonable conversation-distance away from each other.
Sounds like the same VA to me
Same VA, just like war horny.
So, Genn and Mathias don't trust in Turalyon yet?
They have been voicing concern ever since Shadowlands. Shaw more than Genn even.
Seeing how he's been gone all that time and some are still "iffy" about Alleria. Can't blame them on waiting to say anything to him
