FACTS. I've been saying this. On Discord/FB there's a lot of broke trolls who claim "iTs jUsT BaSe sEt RePrINts BrO" when it's clearly not. These decks are full of absolute fire. Plus the Japanese was only available thru limited lottery, you won't catch them at a Gamestop. I picked up 2 boxes already and want more!!

Cool cards but most people want to go for pulls.
For the "coin flipper", pretty sure the white holes are both heads and the "black" holes are both tails. The even distribution makes for a cleaner 50/50 chance at either for a single ball roll.
@20:17, I just noticed that both Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are in each other's background. Something I never caught onto the first time. Love the gold holo and nostalgia of this box.
Im not sure how, but pokemon specifically sends me on a nostalgia rocket ride and I don't think that feeling will ever go away. Thanks for letting the little guys that won't get a chance to open sets like this live vicariously. Content like this is like therapy

Ohh man these cards look so Good I definitely want to get one of the versions. Some really spectacular looking holo patterns mixed with vivid colors. Bringing back arts from older sets is really cool to reprint like this.❤
The Halloween Booster bundle got me back into collecting cards. Took a couple boxes to some Halloween parties and they were a huge hit. This box set looks super sick, especially for old fans like me that never got all the OG cards.

The cards bring back memories for me, I was a teen when they first came out and I used to collect them. As I got older I traded them for a skateboard and I could kick myself seeing how much the first gen cards are going for now 😂

Hey, I started watching your videos about a month and love the content. I grew up collecting the original set and dropped off soon after but after discovering my old set and watching your videos, I purchased my first booster set in about 20 years with the Japanese Pokémon 151 set. My wife and I are expecting our first child later this year and your family has inspired me to get back into the hobby and hopefully pass it down to my kids! Keep up the great content!

I love Pokémon and buying boxes and cards, but spend most of my time on Yugioh locals and occasionally MTG, but always a treat to see some cool stuff.
This version is so much better than the english one... And theyre charging more for it.
It's actually kind of disrespectful in my opinion.

Fantastic product. I think the Blastoise deck is actually the nicest, as it also includes nostalgic versions of Articuno and Mewtwo. As a fan of the gen 1 legendary birds, I think it's a miss they didn't add the same cards for Zapdos and Moltres. Hope the price is not going to fly through the roof, like what happened to the Celebrations UPC.

9:24 the ones with the white details are heads and the black ones are tails. Each player has their own metal ball and when they need to use a coin they throw their own ball.
