We are all ready! And I agree with you. Season 3 would be announced at EVO if anything. Would also be dope if they addressed their KOF anniversary coming up with some sort of collection for modern platforms.
oh yeah this is the 30th anniversary of the series, we could use some type of collection i’d even take all of the ACA ports in one collection with some good artwork and a museum mode
Nice video and I totally agree with you! plus a little reminder that we got the KOF XV Official Trailer 2 year ago at Gamescom ONL (also a Geoff Keighley show), so I think the best thing we can get is the same thing but for CotW! a trailer with a glimpse of everything the game can offer and maybe showing some new characters like Mai and Andy!
If my memory serves me right, most companies get a healthy amount of time to present what they have at SGF, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Mai trailer and a game overview trailer. Or maybe a couple characters kinda like the first trailer where we got our initial 5. (Or hey a beta test trailer too!)
I agree! A Mai or game modes trailer is definitely the most optimal reveal. Mai is the next most recognizable character after Terry and casual fans are going to be most interested in those offline modes like the story. Only other thing i can think of is a montage of 3-4 new characters, SGF is the new E3 so it has to be a big reveal! (Hopefully lol)
I picked Mai when I started out in KOF XIV because I wanted a classic character with a short move list to simplify things for myself while I learned the game. She became a mainstay for me through thick and thin and is an amazing character to grow as a player with. Between Marco returning and possibly Mary (as well as all the other sick ass fools in Garou/Fatal Fury) it will be interesting to see who I ultimately land on in that game. Hope it's good to the point of driving me back to competitive play 🤞
Mai is a safe choice in the games too she usually has amazing buttons if not anything else. I main her in RB2 (just havent played in a long time so forgot my combos) where i think she’s at some of her most fun. hope she returns and can be your best asset!
the hypelight for me is atari i'm so excited that atari is going to be at this year summer game fest 2024 i can't wait what atari andd sega is going to aanounced because i'm a fan of sega and atari but i'm also looking forward to snk announcements too even tho i'm not in snk fan
I think we'll get a trailer more similar the KOF XV Gamescom trailer that shows a snapshot of all the content we can expect from the game. Trailer spots at this sort of event are expensive as shit and a "here's what we got in our game" type of trailer would hook more casuals in rather than just showimg off an individual character or even two.

Im expecting a trailer for CotW showing the story and all the game modes. Having just a character trailer for such a big event seems like a waste.
