Christmas memory... Was my first Christmas as a mum. My son was born at 27 weeks and 1 day on 16th December (exactly 3 months before his due date). We were given a family room next to the ICU he was staying in, and the nurses dressed in wacky Christmas hats and glasses and organised stockings for all of the babies staying over Christmas. On Christmas Eve my husband and I had cuddles with our son and I read him the night before Christmas at midnight. On Christmas day we had more cuddles and I read to him the Disney version of Scrooge. It was magical! :)
I love all your PINK... You are the only person I've ever known that is as obsessed with pink as I am! You could so be my granddaughter, what fun we'd have shopping together! As a child, we would go to our elderly next door neighbor's house on Christmas Eve. Margaret & Connie were like adopted grandparents to my 2 older brothers and me. We lived in OK and their only daughter and her family lived in CA so they didn't get to come every year. But Margaret would have the table spread with wonderful goodies and she always made us cups of hot wassail. My dad or Connie would read the story of Jesus birth from the Bible and they would open all there presents and we got to open the present they bought each one of us. Then Christmas morning they would come over and watch us open our presents and they would open the gifts we had for them. My mother's dad had died before I was born and my dad's dad died when I was 7, so Connie played an important part in my life. Wonderful childhood memories! One other memory was a few years after my divorce (I was in my mid 30's) and my parents had divorced and I hadn't spent a Christmas with my dad in a lot of years. My boys and I were going over to my brother's house on Christmas Eve and spend the night. When we arrived that evening and I walked into their living room, there sat my dad under their Christmas tree with a bow on his head and a sign around his neck that said Merry Christmas! My favorite Christmas memory is, My mom woke me up really early in the morning and told me I had to be really quiet because Santa was in the living room. when I tip toed in the hall way, I almost squealed with joy because Santa was really there. As we tiptoed into the hallway, we could hear a bag fall to the ground with a thud and the sound of toys falling onto the floor. We looked at one another, and a giddy feeling washed over me "It's Santa" I said, and my sister and I did a low squeal. We only saw the back of Santa as he was filling the christmas tree with all of our gifts. Before we could get a good look, my mom came into the hallway and scolded for us to go to bed. Years later my mom and dad still talk about how they pulled that off, and that our dad was actually dressed as Santa! It's a fond memory for all of us!
Love the silver trees! One of my favorite memories is watching the excitement on my children's faces when they heard the fire truck siren. The Sunday before Christmas our firemen stopped at all the houses of young children so Santa could give them a wrapped gift! Sweet memory!

My favorite christmas memory was the year I had a completely pink Barbie christmas! I got one of those giant Barbie jeeps you could ride around in and a Barbie Dreamhouse and anything pink and Barbie a little girl could ever want! We even made pink frosted cookies for santa for "good luck" that I would get my Barbie Jeep and after I did I spent almost the whole day riding around in it with my cat :) It was the perfect Christmas I could ask for and i will remember it all my life. Hey girl, really dig your vids. Love them. The holidays are my favorite time of year. Although these days, I've found them a bit sad. But, I wanted to share one of my favorite Christmas memories with you. I was 5 years old, sitting in the living room floor of my Nanny's house, staring up at this massive, gorgeous tree with my sisters and cousins, my parents and entire family all around me. The smell of dinner was heavy in the air, with the smell of pine and all our little mouths were watering! LOL It's the year that stands out most for me. It's why I hold Christmas so close to my heart. It was about family. Being together and loving each other.
ive alot of good christmas memorys because l have children now but when l was a teenager a few days before chrimo every year me and my mother would go down to dublin on the train do some christmas shopping and have an irish christmas dinner and a pint of guiness in the central of dublin then back home with bags of pink clothes😊💚💖

I want those Pink houses! Walmart has some really cute ornament's in pink, I got cheap but look expensive... I got cute gold cages with pink birds hanging inside with feather tails and at World Market, I got two eiffle tower's that are glittery pink for 2 for $5.00. I love there ornaments. They had blue and mint colored ones too! I love to go there just to see there ornament's at Christmas time and they have lovely imported goodies too!
I have many Christmas memories and Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It is Mar 4, 2018 and my 4ft tree is still up. It is so beautiful, but i've had my organizer helping me almost every weekend and been sick sick sick n working full time. So its gonna stay up. I have two bulb boxes and a red tub here so were getting close. My mom went to Heaven in 1995 and my dad in 2015. My mom used to always say this may be my last Christmas in her attempt guilt trip us and to keep her 5 chicks close to her. There were two times my sister took that to heart. Our decorations just looked like Christmas exploded and my mom just bought everything she liked and put it all up. We had all the vintage stuff, but my mother like to decorate so she sold or donated all that stuff, and always wanted new. I was too young to know it would be collectable. She even did that with her jewelry. She was a singer that dressed like Marilyn Monroe in diamonds are a girls best friend, so you can imagine. So my mom either couldnt afford or couldnt get to a place to buy flowers, she never drove a car. And she was down but of course the house was clean, hors d ourves were made, tamales were steaming on the stove. And she'd gone to the living room to "rest" for a few minutes. My sister came over to "taste" the tamales to see if they came out right. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. My brother and i are 9 yrs apart. We dont have the same fathers, mine was her last husband. So im the baby, or surprise package. She went over to my mom, and said mom, what do you want for Christmas? "Nothing" kinda slurring because she was either already on oxygen or needed it. "i dont need anything," i know mom, but what do you want? "Roses, red roses would look so pretty tomorrow." It was Christmas eve, come on Diane lets go buy mom something, my sister and i got in her car to go buy my mom a dozen roses, that she requested. Of course everything is closed. We tried every big grocer, mom and pops, liquor stores, 7-11s but all flowers were gone, thought there might be a street vendor. Nope none. We went downtown, then the East Side where there were like fruitstands that were like markets and they had farm flowers and the people lived there, all closed. Then we thought about the people who have home businesses and the neon light is always on in their windows. We had done a 3/4 circle around San Jose and headed East again and we found a house vendor, this was Asian owned and the neon light was on and the lights were on, well they were always on. Instead of a garage door, she had a glass front and sliding glass door. It was like finding the Holy Grail, the skies opened a light from Heaven shined down, the angels sang, ah ah ah, ah ah AH. We could see beautiful flowers and plants and Roses! We obnoxciously rang the door bell like ten times, in case they were sleeping. The lady came and let us in, saying can i help you? Yeah, we want to buy roses, okay what kind how many. A dozen red roses! Please! She had the most beautiful red roses you ever seen, very high quality, tall, huge rose heads, strong thicks stems and allready in a green tall vase. We came back home and we woke her up coming in, and she said where have you been what are you doing out in the cold. My sister said mom, we bought you flowers, roses. Oh? You didnt have to do that? You should see her face with her eyes closed, surpris and the a frown and then serene and a smile. "Yes we did mom," my sister said. "So i put them in one of her tall beautifull crystal vases and cut the stems and made the flower water mix at her direction. All from the couch. Yes we did, it was one minicule sacrice we made for her compared to our lifetimes of her doing so for us. It wasnt my moms last Christmas, but it was one of her lasts. And i think my sister knew that moms health was failing. But we both know and she more than i, beacuse my mom was a divorced mom with 4 kids and had a day retail womens clothing job, cleaned houses, and was a professional singer. And always managed to create magical beautiful Christmases full of toys presents food desserts candy warmth laughter and love for us my dad many many friends and for her 9 grandchildren and 1 of 2 great grandchildren. The other lives out of state. We would have at least 40 people come through for Christmas. And it was one side of a duplex rental, with a tiny galley kitchen and huge formal dining table with 8 huge chairs where "normal" people would have put a little round table with 4 chairs. And a living room, no other room. And people had to eat, on china with silver utensils and a glass of punch of eggnog in a gold rimmed glass, with there plate in their lap. And the food never ran out. I'm striving to be 1/4 the woman of love she was. Oh and by the way, my dad was served first. And my mom never sat down to eat, she'd say she ate tasting the food. And she would stand serving all the plates or a couple of items and pass the plate to us, but she had to be in the mix. Then later when some people had left she'd make herself a plate on china, with gold rimmed glass of eggnog, and silver utensils. And enjoy a little more of the fruits of her labor. And she had guests friends and family showing up all week after, her brother and wife would come his Bday Dec 26, and another party every New Years Day. Kinda of a congleration, i'll put the other memory which also involves my sister. Whatever day you read this, Merry Christmas and Happy New year from all of my heart to you!!

QUESTION.... Lol. Exactly what do you do with your regular year round decorations to make room for all your adorable Christmas stuff? I'm ADHD/OCD so I get a little bit of anxiety taking my regular stuff down to make room for allll my Christmas stuff, just because I'm scared I won't be able to find it again {even though I have to be super organized being adhd or my brain goes CRAZY. Anyhoo, I collect all kinds of SNOWMEN with the little villages that I like to display on top of that fluffy stuff {pretend snow}. I'm 49 so I've not ALWAYS been able to go MOSTLY PINK with most of our house and/or Christmas stuff. NOW, for several years I've stuck totally with the shabby chic decor and for the first year, I actually ordered a solid white tree and I will be using MOSTLY pinks, silvers, and white decorations, but then I, too, have all my ornaments from when I was little and when my daughter was little. {I'm not ready to let her have all of hers yet because I'm SUPER SENTIMENTAL so until I know 1000% that she won't lose and/or accidentally break them, they will be staying with me lol} However, I'm as we speak in the process of painting pink over the ornaments that I've had for a long time but aren't really sentimental. ANYHOO, I was just curious if you had a special, creative "thing" that you did with your regular stuff while all of your Christmas stuff was out. Sorry for the novel. #ADHD lol

I've been diggin' the vintage blush pink that's out for 2016. I fell in love with the roses and other matching florals at Michaels but I wanted to check some other stores to see if I could get enough stuff to redo my entire house in that color. So I did that and then went back the very next day to buy them out and everything was gone! Like overnight! Frustrating. So I went with a Winter Wonderland theme without the pink. :( Still amazingly beautiful, though, so not complaining. Merry Christmas, everyone!

I know this is an old video but these are my Christmas stories. Mainly every Christmas has been my favorite as long as we were safe and healthy but maybe when my sons dad after we were separated, he bought me a new car out of the blue... and it was the exact car I wanted. Thing is I never told anyone I wanted it. I think he felt guilty because he left me for another woman, maybe he wanted me back but I was engaged to be married by than I told him I couldn't take it but he insisted. I guess I will never know. But he was driving a Mercedes... and I was driving a bucket of bolts VW that the door would come open by itself when you made a turn and the lights went on when you turned on the windshield wipers. lol My son was a baby and I thought I better keep a safer car. And when I was little my mom got me a doll I really wanted Nina Ballerina, You put her on a stand and crank it and position her and she twirls around. But than my sister liked her head better than her doll and wanted to put it on her doll and took it off... Mistake! After that her head would fling across the room when twirling.😞 lol😊🎄Oh another one was when i went to the bay area for Christmas and my husbands cousin was being rude to me without cause, My second husband not my sons dad and he did not speak up so I left and drove home 4 hrs away with my young son without my husband. when my son fell asleep I was crying but when we came to a historical town near where we lived I wanted to drive through cuz my son woke up to show him the lights on the victorian houses and the big old church had chiming Christmas carols ringing out and we sang Christmas songs and we were together and happy, I think this is my very favorite memory.

I thought I was the only adult that has pink walls and a pink Christmas tree that was passed down to me from my friend. It's the perfect baby pink color and I don't even see them in stores anymore. The only thing that I don't have is a big pink Santa clause but I'm always looking for one. Everything I own is pink lol. On another note, I just want to say that I love your confidence. I stopped loving myself when I gained weight and don't date out of fear that I don't deserve to be loved and that its impossible for a guy to be attracted to a bigger girl that's not a size 4. I was skinny all my life until I got married and had a baby. 15 years later and I have been single for most of it. I just wish that I could love myself the way I am. When I see you, I see perfection but when I look in the mirror, I see the opposite. I'm so glad that I found your channel and can't wait for this Christmas and all the upcoming videos :)

One christmas we were in the process of moving into a new house, my parents had built their dream house from the ground up and we moved in on christmas eve, on christmas morning i came downstairs to open presents and i saw these very suspicious oval shaped packages...my dad got my mom and i toilet seats and wrapped them...with bows and everything, i also got a door know that year

And she was down but of course the house was clean, hors d ourves were made, tamales were steaming on the stove. And she'd gone to the living room to "rest" for a few minutes. My sister came over to "taste" the tamales to see if they came out right. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. My brother and i are 9 yrs apart. We dont have the same fathers, mine was her last husband. So im the baby, or surprise package. She went over to my mom, and said mom, what do you want for Christmas? "Nothing" kinda slurring because she was either already on oxygen or needed it. "i dont need anything," i know mom, but what do you want? "Roses, red roses would look so pretty tomorrow."
It was Christmas eve, come on Diane lets go buy mom something, my sister and i got in her car to go buy my mom a dozen roses, that she requested. Of course everything is closed. We tried every big grocer, mom and pops, liquor stores, 7-11s but all flowers were gone, thought there might be a street vendor. Nope none. We went downtown, then the East Side where there were like fruitstands that were like markets and they had farm flowers and the people lived there, all closed. Then we thought about the people who have home businesses and the neon light is always on in their windows. We had done a 3/4 circle around San Jose and headed East again and we found a house vendor, this was Asian owned and the neon light was on and the lights were on, well they were always on. Instead of a garage door, she had a glass front and sliding glass door. It was like finding the Holy Grail, the skies opened a light from Heaven shined down, the angels sang, ah ah ah, ah ah AH. We could see beautiful flowers and plants and Roses! We obnoxciously rang the door bell like ten times, in case they were sleeping. The lady came and let us in, saying can i help you? Yeah, we want to buy roses, okay what kind how many. A dozen red roses! Please! She had the most beautiful red roses you ever seen, very high quality, tall, huge rose heads, strong thicks stems and allready in a green tall vase. We came back home and we woke her up coming in, and she said where have you been what are you doing out in the cold. My sister said mom, we bought you flowers, roses. Oh? You didnt have to do that? You should see her face with her eyes closed, surpris and the a frown and then serene and a smile. "Yes we did mom," my sister said. "So i put them in one of her tall beautifull crystal vases and cut the stems and made the flower water mix at her direction. All from the couch. Yes we did, it was one minicule sacrice we made for her compared to our lifetimes of her doing so for us.
It wasnt my moms last Christmas, but it was one of her lasts. And i think my sister knew that moms health was failing. But we both know and she more than i, beacuse my mom was a divorced mom with 4 kids and had a day retail womens clothing job, cleaned houses, and was a professional singer. And always managed to create magical beautiful Christmases full of toys presents food desserts candy warmth laughter and love for us my dad many many friends and for her 9 grandchildren and 1 of 2 great grandchildren. The other lives out of state. We would have at least 40 people come through for Christmas. And it was one side of a duplex rental, with a tiny galley kitchen and huge formal dining table with 8 huge chairs where "normal" people would have put a little round table with 4 chairs. And a living room, no other room. And people had to eat, on china with silver utensils and a glass of punch of eggnog in a gold rimmed glass, with there plate in their lap. And the food never ran out. I'm striving to be 1/4 the woman of love she was. Oh and by the way, my dad was served first. And my mom never sat down to eat, she'd say she ate tasting the food. And she would stand serving all the plates or a couple of items and pass the plate to us, but she had to be in the mix. Then later when some people had left she'd make herself a plate on china, with gold rimmed glass of eggnog, and silver utensils. And enjoy a little more of the fruits of her labor. And she had guests friends and family showing up all week after, her brother and wife would come his Bday Dec 26, and another party every New Years Day. Kinda of a congleration, i'll put the other memory which also involves my sister. Whatever day you read this, Merry Christmas and Happy New year from all of my heart to you!!

QUESTION.... Lol. Exactly what do you do with your regular year round decorations to make room for all your adorable Christmas stuff? I'm ADHD/OCD so I get a little bit of anxiety taking my regular stuff down to make room for allll my Christmas stuff, just because I'm scared I won't be able to find it again {even though I have to be super organized being adhd or my brain goes CRAZY. Anyhoo, I collect all kinds of SNOWMEN with the little villages that I like to display on top of that fluffy stuff {pretend snow}. I'm 49 so I've not ALWAYS been able to go MOSTLY PINK with most of our house and/or Christmas stuff. NOW, for several years I've stuck totally with the shabby chic decor and for the first year, I actually ordered a solid white tree and I will be using MOSTLY pinks, silvers, and white decorations, but then I, too, have all my ornaments from when I was little and when my daughter was little. {I'm not ready to let her have all of hers yet because I'm SUPER SENTIMENTAL so until I know 1000% that she won't lose and/or accidentally break them, they will be staying with me lol} However, I'm as we speak in the process of painting pink over the ornaments that I've had for a long time but aren't really sentimental. ANYHOO, I was just curious if you had a special, creative "thing" that you did with your regular stuff while all of your Christmas stuff was out. Sorry for the novel. #ADHD lol

I've been diggin' the vintage blush pink that's out for 2016. I fell in love with the roses and other matching florals at Michaels but I wanted to check some other stores to see if I could get enough stuff to redo my entire house in that color. So I did that and then went back the very next day to buy them out and everything was gone! Like overnight! Frustrating. So I went with a Winter Wonderland theme without the pink. :( Still amazingly beautiful, though, so not complaining. Merry Christmas, everyone!

I know this is an old video but these are my Christmas stories.
Mainly every Christmas has been my favorite as long as we were safe and healthy but maybe when my sons dad after we were separated, he bought me a new car out of the blue... and it was the exact car I wanted. Thing is I never told anyone I wanted it.
I think he felt guilty because he left me for another woman, maybe he wanted me back but I was engaged to be married by than I told him I couldn't take it but he insisted. I guess I will never know. But he was driving a Mercedes... and I was driving a bucket of bolts VW that the door would come open by itself when you made a turn and the lights went on when you turned on the windshield wipers. lol My son was a baby and I thought I better keep a safer car.
And when I was little my mom got me a doll I really wanted Nina Ballerina, You put her on a stand and crank it and position her and she twirls around. But than my sister liked her head better than her doll and wanted to put it on her doll and took it off... Mistake! After that her head would fling across the room when twirling.😞 lol😊🎄Oh another one was when i went to the bay area for Christmas and my husbands cousin was being rude to me without cause, My second husband not my sons dad and he did not speak up so I left and drove home 4 hrs away with my young son without my husband. when my son fell asleep I was crying but when we came to a historical town near where we lived I wanted to drive through cuz my son woke up to show him the lights on the victorian houses and the big old church had chiming Christmas carols ringing out and we sang Christmas songs and we were together and happy, I think this is my very favorite memory.

I thought I was the only adult that has pink walls and a pink Christmas tree that was passed down to me from my friend. It's the perfect baby pink color and I don't even see them in stores anymore. The only thing that I don't have is a big pink Santa clause but I'm always looking for one. Everything I own is pink lol. On another note, I just want to say that I love your confidence. I stopped loving myself when I gained weight and don't date out of fear that I don't deserve to be loved and that its impossible for a guy to be attracted to a bigger girl that's not a size 4. I was skinny all my life until I got married and had a baby. 15 years later and I have been single for most of it. I just wish that I could love myself the way I am. When I see you, I see perfection but when I look in the mirror, I see the opposite. I'm so glad that I found your channel and can't wait for this Christmas and all the upcoming videos :)
