Did you think about the large unfused 12 v wire running down the side of the engine ? hopefully nothing goes wrong
That did cross my mind but PA Performance didn't mention anything about adding one. I may add one in the near future.
If I remember right my 69 Z/28 had a battery cable running to the starter along with the solenoid wires . My 66 Mustang is still set up with the solenoid on the firewall !

What size are the starter bolts that you bought?
The specs are at 4:00 minute mark, 3/8-16 is a common engine bolt size.
