  • Many societies across the globe independently developed agricultural practices over the last 10,000 years, leading to an enormous amount of diversity in what plants were domesticated, and how they were grown and eaten. This presentation will explore some of the global regions of plant domestication, the role of diversified crop production in sustainability, and current local efforts conducting variety trials on mustards, collards, and broccoli.
Presenter: Dr. Dina Liebowitz, Plant Science Program Director, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, University of Florida
