@Joao Lucas Bastos its way more common
Faster cross to F2L transition? Easy, don't finish the cross.
Ah, i see youre a man of culture as well
Sometimes i dont finish the cross and finish the cross halfway F2L
Laugh in roux
Thanks for the tip but how do I do f2l
I know this is a joke but freefop
Hey everyone! Fun fact: I've had the idea for this video ever since I made the original 10 incredible techniques video. I've just never gotten around to finishing it until now! I hope you enjoy!
Please make another "10 incredible techniques to help you get faster at 3x3" video! I like them so much, I know, it could be difficult to find other practice techniques, because you already made two videos about it, but if you can: pls do it!
Is it bad to use back slot insert with Fw moves rather than using b moves or should I just rotate?
@@fireburst1760 it's fine to just rotate
Dude my F2L are so inefficient my wooden pickaxe calls me slow
Lol
using shears on obsidian
At least my f2l is like a diamond pickaxe on obsidian.
Bruh my f2l is less efficient than mining bedrock throwing eggs
using nothing on obsidian is bedder than my F2l because i can't solve a cube
5. Poor turning - guilty, not sure how to improve. Guess I can start by watching what you do there at 0.25x. But I'm not looking forward to any D moves, let alone pushes (shiver).
4. F2L tunnel vision - not guilty.
3. Not using inspection well - not guilty, but I have a different problem: I could spend 30 sec and still not be able to fully plan the cross in some cases.
2. Cube rotating too much - guilty. I mainly cube rotate to look for pieces. I knew the edge orientation identification, however there are 1 or 2 cases where the edge is oriented but it takes either a horrific number of moves or F/B turns and stuff to solve the pair without cube rotations.
1. Inefficient F2L - somewhat guilty. I definitely don't know how to use different F2L solutions for the same case. But I think I mainly struggle with a) finding pieces and b) quickly figuring out how to solve them.
Thanks for the video!
aditsu that basically sounds like me XD
Henry Harris I’m so quilts with the poor turning one because it feels uncomfortable to double U’

You have NO idea how much I agree with this. I’m part of some fb groups and almost on a daily basis, there’s always someone posting a video of them solving a 3x3. Bit it drives me SO crazy seeing the bad habits that they exemplify. Especially the cube rotations. Your channel is extremely constructive and educational and I’ve been a fan for a long time. Keep it up Brody!
Why don't you kindly tell them to stop rotating?
same im in some fb groups with people posting their solves. But i would comment on it when i get a chance and critique their solves to help them
Bad turning is worse.
As an educator, this video demonstrates a ton to consider when providing advice to others but most of all it begins for a formal definitions of what precisely is being done, mathematically, when working a 3x3.
Brody, as you continue your work its very clear to me that the mathematical content will be the next step in your evolution as a content creator with regards to the cubing community.
Hopefully your progress and success as a creator takes you to new places that everyone is very excited to learn from and with you during your journey.
Thank you for all you do.
Me: has never picked up a cube before
CZcams algorithm: yyo dude u gotta see this shit
Lol
This video is super helpful, all the best advice for beginner / intermediate solvers in one place. Thanks Brody!
8:54 The example you used for more advanced solvers' inefficiencies blew my mind. Have you thought of making an entire video on these kinds of things? Or maybe a video on optimizing edge orientation while solving the last F2L pair (to avoid dot OLL's, for example)? Just some ideas. Great video, and have a nice day!
6:20 that's algorithm new for me
Dude. Thank you sooo much! I really improved from this and am now really starting to see my times go down. Tysm cuz I’m going to a comp very soon and now i’m very ready. Thank You!
This video was amazing. most of these things didn't apply to me but i stil watched all the way threw. The content and presntation is great. You sound very natural and the editing is very good. Just thought I had to say
This here is why my f2l takes up 20 seconds .
I've learnt that I probably insert and pair up inefficiently.
Thank you !!!
I think this is one of the Best cubing videos I've seen. You help all level solvers with your tips that you make easy to understand. I also really like the background music. Good job !
Awesome video man! I learned a lot, thank you!
This is a great video and very useful, appreciate the work and effort❤
Thanks so useful! I really needed this vid and am just a beginner but you have really helped me cube faster.
THIS IS THE VIDEO THAT I NEED. I LOVE YOU
Dude. Great content! Nice editing and you sound really professional! Subscribed!
I'm trying to learn proper finger tricks and turn properly so I've had to print out my algs again. Never realized how much I depended on muscle memory, but its something I have to do if I want to get faster.. Thanks for great videos, your the only cuber I have notifications for.
Great video definitely going to work on those suggestions
Truely usefull things!!
Brody is amazing!!!
Arrows in thumbnail, 10 minutes long, lists... I see you are a man of culture
Perfect Timing! i have a comp next weekend
Great video! Very useful concepts for everyone!
I think i do less rotations than i should. I use some really wierd finger tricks and B moves just to avoid rotations. Also a tip is that if an f2l insert is more than 8 moves, there is probably a better solution, unless it sets up a different pair
Great video! Definitely something that anyone can learn from.
This video was very helpful
Thank you for sharing this 😊
On point as usual. I have a lot of work to do.
You are helping me too much.
Thanks for the videos and keep going with that kinds of videos.

I can't even properly sub 30....but i haven't goven up tho

Thanks for this so much
I really like the inspection tip
I enjoyed it and you earned a sub for this awesome video 😁

This video hit me hard. Thanks Brody. From now on I will be following you. Hopefully soon I can change my bad habits and be sub-15. That's all im asking..

Hey Brody! Just wanted to say thank you for signing my stackmat at Great Lakes Champs this year!

Wow. Amazing video !! :D
Now, that's a damn helpful video.
Number 1 and 2 are the ones that will really help me
Nice background plugin brody
Thank you! I'm a very inefficient solver. I average 55 seconds with my PB at 32. I will be taking your tips into heavy consideration. Lots of practice is coming in the near future for me.
Lol same
7:56 Oof
Oof means money
you are really amazing! thank you so much. I am so frustrated because I am so slow in solving cross and f2l.
would you make a tutorial in a pdf please?
Love your style boy...
This is great. Ty... Trying to be sub 20.. f2l is the hardest and to many rotations
Man you are the best adviser. Better than J Perm. One question I have got only three sub 20 solves in this 1 year and I'm good at F2L solutions but I can't get under sub 20. How should I get there?Should I Look Ahead now or Get into learning Full OLL?I know Full PLL. I know all the fingertricks and execute it in my solves when it comes. I have made some F2L and OLL Algs Myself and it's takes almost under a second to do my own algs. Hope you read this. You are the best.
About using the whole inspection: I learned to do this the day I was Judging Michał Pleskowicz's oh solves at GLS Gdynia 2020. Dude literally started all of his solves using like 14.9x seconds of inspection, but never went past 15. Of course he won that event
Very good video! Just one question: What settings do you use for your Gans X? I can't find the right tensions that suit me, so i'm seeing what professional cubers use
Great content, earned a subscribe. What's your Gan setup?
I'm pretty sure it was just whatever was in the cube when I got it. I didn't really change anything
How to stop cube rotating?
EASY TO ANSWER
Learn ZZ
ZZ has “EO-line” which makes all bad edges to good edges so that you can stop rotating for the rest of your solve.
nah learn roux second block
*IT DRIVES ME CRAZY*
0:17 I learned how to do that today. And it probably saved me 12 moves to a solved state
Yell me it
Tell me it please i cant see
I really love the f2l case shown in the thumbnail
Yep the cross to f2l part hit the spot
Subscribed. :) Also I'm a fresh starting beginner, what apps do cubes use usually for time keeping/time records, algorithms and whatnot?
Before I just use the beginner technique and came to the PB of 23.7 seconds on that time I don't even know how to use the both hands with 4 fingers at the back and the thumb in front I really don't know how to do it. But not I'm not cubing anymore but I'm planning to go back cubing. Also my cube before does lock often, can't perform a corner cut, not smooth and unstable. But I love it.
i like this video, they can help me alot
What helped me to get cross plus one was to scramble the cube on CSTimer and turn on the tool that gives you the cross solution and track a pair as you complete that solution
so ive been sitting here for quite a while trying to work on my inefficient f2l when this video comes on via autoplay. i usually play random cubing videos while i practice to fill the space in my brain. anyways, i thought your last tip was pretty neat consider what i was doing at the time.
New sub!
This is great
Thanks for the video man!. Can I ask you what is your setup on the GAN 356 X? I can't get myself to like mine so maybe I could try a setup that you like
I just put traxxas 50k on the pieces. I haven't done anything else to it
@@BrodytheCuber What about the nuts and their tensions?
Thank you now I am better than before
Nice 🔥
when someone knows how to solve 3x3x3 but hears something that is making him feel like knowing a language without knowing it's grammar rules but still use them correctly
I remember you helped me at a comp once. At you table there was a line of people getting help from you

Cubing without a mat hurts...
Btw, great video as always!
You are teaching so cool man😍😍😍😍😍😍
How do people do that cool finish with the M's in it and what last layer do I need to do it?
I don't do cube rotations since I use Roux, but Second block look ahead is a bit difficult
Brody, I want to make a request. Can you make a video about how to insert pairs on the back slot?
4:10 Brody using 4 seconds of inspection:
thanx si much im a good begginer now
