Losing trees is part of the process.
I understand the clip and grow thing. However wire helps tremendously to get lots of movement.
I personally would adjust the angle and maybe placement of the larches in those forests. Specially given the size of them. Or move the one that is kinda weak to a more outside spot in the composition.

Sorry about your tree dave. Just wondering if you have two larches left that I could purchase to replace two that died in my larch forest that I made in your forest workshop early this spring. I will be at the workshop this weekend, wondering if you will be there with any trees. I know I can't put them in the larch forest until the spring, but would like to grow them over the summer.
