He was talkin about being in the hospital feeling like and thinking he was going to die. He became very paranoid after getting shot (anyone would) and felt they would come to finish the job and he didn't trust the doctors. That's why he checked himself out as soon as he was able to

Wouldnt be surprised if they did kill him in hospital. In interviews his close family said he was shaking the bed while he was in a coma as if he was trying to tell them something.
