It’s not snitching. 37 years in the inner city high school and I told all my students and some that hung out near my room. “I will snitch on you in a heartbeat. So don’t be stupid enough to do something IN FRONT OF ME. Consequences for stupidity too

I'm an elementary school teacher and I honestly love when parents pop up unexpectedly. So many times I didn't even know the parents were there watching. I'll never forget I had a THIRD GRADE student doing a hip thrust and was acting like he was humping me when I had turned my back to write something on the board. All of a sudden the door burst open and I heard a deep voice "DO IT AGAIN, I DARE YA" Lol his Dad had watched him the whole time. Of course he tried to act like he didn't do anything. When I tell you we heard that child crying and screaming cause his Daddy beat his behind right there in the school! That same student is in college now studying law, lol I still get emails from him.
I wish all parents were this responsible and active in their children's lives and education.
Unfortunately not all have a responsible father in their lives.
Praise and thank God for those fathers who are there for their children

As a retired teacher I can confirm some of the crazy/nasty things students write in some of those notes. I was always shocked by how many girls sent notes OFFERING their services 🙅🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

A single mother in our town was informed by her son that he had been suspended from school. The next morning, she made him get up, and get ready for school as usual. Then she rode the school bus to school with him. She told the principal to give her son a paddling, but he couldn’t suspend him because he needed an education.

@@andreamarin4296 Inflicting physical pain on a child is NOT discipline. It's punishment. Punishment is not discipline. Discipline is not punishment. One leaves a child's self-esteem intact. The other damages a child's self-esteem and impacts their mental health. HUGE difference.
If you spare the rod you spoil the child. Old school discipline . Sometimes these kids need disciplined not getting a talking to.

Beating a child is domestic violence. When an adult inflicts physical pain on another adult we call it domestic violence yet when an adult inflicts pain on a helpless child we call it good parenting. Why does the age of the victim determine what we call it?

@@bathos22 no one's glorifying domestic violence but the parents need to stop being soft uncompromising with their kids that. Times are different now and there are other ways of disciplining your kids where they know you are sincere but you do have to get on them early at an early age so they didn't know as they get older not to test you out there for you wouldn't have to put any physical harm on them whatsoever... Is a prevention to make sure they don't become another statistic and don't lose themselves mentally as they get older.. it's the soft punk ass parents fault of today.. that's why the generations and the crimes that go on as a result of the parents not being as tough as they used be .. and unfortunately unless things change is going to get worse because the generation that's in your teenage years now want to be even cooler then their parents so they believe if they don't beat their kids are going to be even better parents while being strict which is going to result into even more crying because they did not get on their kids like they should have when they were younger.. is absolutely ridiculous and nonsense.. but HEY ,what do I know..🤷 I'm just guessing b and I have tourettes and nothing that I say has any meaning..
