Awesome! Is there any background story too your songs? especially to the crownguard's quest and the last knight? I want to know more about the quests and lore of your songs this is so good!
Hi - all the songs on this album are based on "The Chronicles of the Dragonlance" by Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman. The Crownguard´s Quest ist about the knight of Solamnia Derek Crownguard who is on a quest to find a dragon orb, which is used to control dragons. But he is also corroded by his ambition and his lust for power. The Last knight on the other hand is about the character Sturm Brightblade who is one of the companions who make up the party of adventurers which are the "main story" so to say - though lowest in rank he is more honorable and noble than all the other knights and sacrifices himself in a last stand to safe his friends :) dlnexus.com/lexicon/13328.aspx If you haven´t read the books and like fantasy, you should get them. @@matthiasgraf3011 Thanks for the reply, appreciate it! Holy shit so this all is the dragonlance storyline? I felt a strong DnD vibe in listening to your songs from the beginning and I just started to listen to the audiobooks of the dragonlance so I am really looking forward to go on with the storyline. I am pumped for your new album when it comes out and will definitely come visit at least one of your concerts. Just for your interest, I found your band while listening to Reunation after some years for the first time and thought "what an amazing voice, I hope that they made more" and here I am now binge listening to your albums. It's kinda funny that I started to listen to your songs when I also started to prepare my first DnD adventure as a GM, haha. So thanks again and keep on rocking! I am gonna buy all your merch and cds, for sure!
Starke Performance! Aber mich würde interessieren, warum ihr das komplette Intro im Background laufen lasst, obwohl ihr es (bis auf die 2. Gitarre, wenn ich das richtig raushöre) spielen könntet. Ist es, weil ihr den Sound der Akkos undbedingt live haben wollt? Greetz
+123MetalManiac123 Moin, freut uns, dass dir die Performance gefällt. Wegen des Intros - wir haben in den Proben öfter versucht den "Gesamtsound" irgendwie hinzubekommen, das war aber nie zufriedenstellend. Zum "Hauptthema" auf der Leadgitarre gesellen sich ja noch 3 Harmonie-Stimmen sowie die Rhythmusgitarre. Wir bräuchten also noch 3-4 weitere Gitarristen :D
