I’m honestly in love with this, the characters, the idea, the snakes, the style, it’s lovable! The concept of male gorgons are rare to be found and this piece made one that’s honestly quite adorable. Not to mention the snakes.

This is ADORABLE!!!!! I love everything about this short. The storyline, the lighting and shading, the textures and movements, the sound work, the compositing, ALL OF IT!!! I love the fact that the stone statue thing is only temporary, although it seemed to vary in the length of time each time. I adore the sweet girl, wanting to look good for her "blind" date, and refusing to wear her glasses. I felt so bad for the poor guy, he's just trying so hard to be inconspicuous, and those dratted snakes just keep messing things up! And then when the girl finally did see the snakes, she didn't turn ? What? Then I realized! Oh, it's only people who are mean or rude and make the snakes mad that change. Because she actually liked hum, and thus wanted to like even his unusual company, that's why she didn't turn! Brilliant!!!
I love that it seems like the shortest time was when he did it ONLY to save the guy from burning to death. Where when the guy was unintentionally being a danger it was longer. Probably since the snakes did it to protect themselves, vs. did it to save hi, knowing it was needed just until they could put him out.
Don't hide you true self because of thinking someone might not like your beauty. A person who loves you will always support and cheerish you no matter what looks or background you have.
Protagonist's biggest fear is not that people won't accept his flaws, but that himself won't accept them and be ashamed of them. Therefore, he always petrifies the waiter when he sees his flaws, causing the waiter to forget his memories. When the main character accepts himself, no one is turned to stone anymore, and he finds love to be very simple.
In this love story, weakness is the perfect piece to create love. Perhaps weakness is a test of love.
Something you don't like or feel embarrassed about, but other people might really like it

I love this short film! I feel so bad for the poor guy since those annoying snakes just keep messing things up and I adore the girl refusing to wear her glasses to look good for her romantic date. If the characters had shown their true selves at the beginning, they wouldn’t have been surprised.
I like very much how the director uses decorations, music effects, camera shots to show the idea of true love accepts you as you are.
Moral: Everyone have flaws, and we all try to hide it in front of others cause we feel uncomfortable. But there are people who will learn to accept u as who u are, so learn to be who u are, with ur flaws as well!
