Great music that was made to be played loud. 70s 80s 90s rock bands all on my apple ipod. Listening now and till the day I die. Still get to catch some of this band's. Def leppard c u soon
I'm really upset I saw him when he first started and I really wanted to go to his last tour but I'm fighting cancer and not well enough to go, absolutely devasted most of my time is spent in bed in loads of pain
Whitesnake have always been a Brilliant band from The start in 1978 with Neil Micky and Bernie DC has always had Brilliant Guitarists in His Band no matter the line up Mel Galley John Sykes etc to Todays Line up But Hey this aint the end... I think DC needs to contact Neil Micky and Bernie His Blues Men Give it to us ONE MORE TIME !!!!!
I was at the Show tonight at the Oberhausen Arena Germany David did sound ok to me they played great Europe were great It was a great Evening Farewell David See you again Europe
People did miss them as they were still having people come in when Europe's set finished. I felt bad for them. Thankfully everyone seemed to be in when Foreigner (actually the best performance on that night) started as the arena was packed.
It was the same in Glasgow felt sorry for them as the arena was barely half full... Wasn't the bands fault... The doors opened at 6pm but by the time they searched everyone getting in, there was no way everyone was getting in for the first band on... Europe Deserved better than that.. Whitesnake were great despite dcs vocals being shot now... Foreigner stole the show for me.. But thanks for the memories whitesnake 🤘😁🤘
Unfortunately I think his voice is shot or maybe he just had a bad night but definitely super pitchy and no power by behind voice anymore. But at that age how can you blame him. He’s surrounded himself with good talent.
I'll be seeing them in Belmont Park, NY on September 7. Seen them 6 times before. His voice sounds a little better here than in the videos of the first couple of shows but it's still not the same. However, it's still better than the garbage that today's generation claims is music.
Yes he’s lost his voice at the high end and band cover for him and if this is farewell for Dave then at least he’s going out in style instead of carrying on and spoiling what he’s achieved over the years
Unfortunately youre right. We went to the Nottingham show and David's mic was barely on. Most of the singing was done my his keyboard player behind. Still a great show though
Never be what they was that's age but remember when bands like this gone and the good musicians putting on a show still loads of 60.s and 70.s bands still rocking people always won't to see people play not like now here today gone 2 morrow not learning to play anything or just talking to a machine any one can do shame music gone down hill
@@kyles8274 Yeah. I was actually joking. I've seen some vids and Joey can still sing - unlike poor old DC. I saw Whitesnake in Sheffield in 1994 on their Greatest Hits tour. He was still singing pretty well then, but his voice is shot to hell now. Sorry, but it's a fact.
Doors opened at 18:00 massive queues outside. Europe started on time at 18:45 and finished ontime 40-50% of the audience missed part or all of Europe's set.
I understand what you say but I've seen video from other shows where he sounds much better, can't help thinking the sound guys at this show were drowning him out at times. He is 70, he has had major surgery in the past on his vocal chords, he knows how to get and keep a crowd going and I had a great night with some of the greatest (Foreigner were awesome and Europe were brilliant openers).
David Coverdale is still a way better lead singer than the tragic disaster that Jon Bon Jovi just showed us live recently.Coverdale can at least still carry some semblance of a tune.Vince Neil of Motley Crue is also finished as well as a singer.Sometimes you just have to know when to say when its finally over.I would still pay to see a Whitesnake show.As for Bon Jovi and Motley Crue......I will take a hard pass on seeing those guys live present day.Sad but true.
This should have been a free tour since the crowd is singing more than the Coverdale. This is the prime example of staying too long at the party. Coverdale should have retired in 2005. Horrible waste of the people's money.
So what are you doing here? This is a classic and it is better quality than most of the new trend songs I've listened to and I've listened to a lot (I'm 19). There are some new rock bands that I like such as Skillet that are making very nice songs with meaningful lyrics. The thing is that bands like Whitesnake scorpions Europe survivor AC DC and many others don't have an expire date on them. They still rock
For a band that was formed in 1978 to still be playing live gigs over 40 years later, kinda proves you wrong. Ah well. I guess I'll not be seeing you at Queen, Rolling Stones or Alice Cooper concerts later this year then? Shame Aerosmith felt the need to cancel their tour though :-(
it's going to be a shame when all these iconic rock bands are gone, today's music just doesn't do it like the bands of the past.
Sigh
yeah.
but wow they still sound great. same with Def Leppard
Amen to that. What they call music today is an insult to the very word music.
absolutely. i can't speak for the rest of the people on here, but i grew up in the generation with the most amazing music ever. modern stuff...pah.

Even if he's getting older, David is still there and he's awesome 🤘👏
He can still sing at his age amazing.
The crowd was singing LOUD. Incredible.
I thought the exact same thing about another recent WS video I watched.
I guess this is one of those songs EVERYBODY sings
Big Deal ! He Can’t sing Anymore !
@@jimilee4609 sounds pretty good to me. Compared to a lot of old timers.
Have you tried listening to Bon Jovi lately?
It was an awesome evening. I have the hangover to prove it. God I'll miss Whitesnake.
Still one of the greatest anthems of all time!!!! Just spun Slip Of The Tongue last night. Awesome band!!
I was there. What an amazing concert ❤️
One of the best songs ever ❤️

Stay strong and win that fight! Wish you are completely healed soon! Rock on!! 💪🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love whitesnake so much
New keyboardist Dino is singing along with the lead vocals, and helping out tremendously. He sounds just like Coverdale.
Looking forward to Wednesdays show in Manchester 🥰🔥
They were absolutely brilliant 👏 👌 😀 love 💘 David
Love this band
1987頃に深夜番組ビデオテープ録画して擦り減るくらい聴いてました🔥高校生の頃🔥
Awesome, all the best ❤️👍.
I was there loved it
props to WS and that audience!
Voice is definitely going, but nothing but respect for him to keep cranking out tours every year 😀

It was a great Evening

Just amazing…! 🥲
Thanx for sharing!!! 🤘🏻
Beautiful 🖤🤘
Awesome
They should've set the tour schedule to play the shows in England last since that's where Whitesnake's journey began.
Toller Abend
Great evening however the doors should have opened sooner as Europe had started playng who were excellent but a lot of people missed as still queuing.

Oberhausen 27.05
Steve Vai, Vivian Campbell, and Rudy Sarzo should have done this tour. Reb Beach need to picking a band a stay with it.
What time did europe come on dan
Was about 6.45pm when they started. The place had loads of empty seats when Europe started playing.

Tommy Aldridge is "iron man".
Sound crew was either very drunk or high cause they made a mess of the sound🤣🤣
It is so annoying when bands have the crowd sing half the song.
All the rock bands from the 80s are aging and their vocals are shot. They should leave well enough alone and leave their legacy in tact.
sad to say but glad he is retiring his voice is Gone

Auch wenn der oberang nicht besetzt ist
Coverdale vocerron
Dudes pipes are shot. They had a good long run. Pack it up boys

Shame to see old age creepin up on such a brilliant career.

The moody marsden are the real whitesnake not the yanks
I paid to hear Coverdale sing Burn was a joke ! Sing the songs Dave like we know you can. Good money paid and a lot of traveling for bloody karaoke !
