Memories are good to remember... I was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii and over time, we used to swim in our valleys and rivers until modern equipment came with people who polluted the valley and river waters, we couldn't swim or catch fish and she'll fish anymore. I still remember but it's a sad time, life goes on.Thanks to God for his love and support.
It is the polluted problem every where .I am 68 born and live on the river bank of river Cauvery .When I was young the fishermen catched the fishes and sold in our town .They were so fine . Now no fishing of those days , river is so polluted . Thousands of years environmental cleaning come to an end .
We are lucky to some extent . From Tamil Nadu South India .

I miss my country the Philippines , when I was young me , cousins and friends use to go to the river getting the same shell fish for the family and some of it we sell inthe market for us to have money to buy our school supplies !!! Money is so difficult those days. Tnx to my cousin who taught me how to earn a living through hardwork

Bihira na ngayon ng ganyan. Contaminated-na ang mga river dahil sa too much population means more garbage. The garbage ends up in the river then to sea. Best example is the Pasig River which drains to Manila Bay. Good that we have now Tatang Digo. Best President in my opinion
